This camper is inside of a resort, and there may be other campers nearby, so it is not totally secluded. Guest access There is one parking space in front of the camper, and extra parking very close by. You are welcome to use the sitting area on the bluff directly next to the camper. There is a propane fire pit there, and also a picnic table with an umbrella. Please put the umbrella down if you are not using it or there is wind. Other things to note The lake is a reservoir, so lake levels may vary throughout the year based on precipitation, and water usage by the farmers. Swimming in the lake is not available for some time in July to late August. During that time, hot weather makes the algae bloom that can make swimming unpleasant. Be sure to inquire if this is happening during your stay as it depends on weather and water levels in the lake. Being close to the lake means there are flying insects outside. Most of the insects are non-biting midges that are attracted to light and will attempt to enter the room if you let them. We do get some small green mosquitos during the summer in the evening, as well. We are at 6,400 feet in elevation. This listing is located in a place that gets snow in the winter, and certain mountain roads may be closed until that snow melts in the spring. Please pay attention to road closures in the area due to snow. We will not advise you of road closures as we do not know where you are coming from, where you are going, or when road closures and openings happen in relation to your time of arrival or departure. It is your responsibility to research drive times and mountain road closures. Looking to fish and cruise around the lake? You're in luck! We have a fleet of excellent rentals ready for you and your friends to get out on the water. Paddleboards and kayaks are $15 for 2 hours. Please message us for more information on our fleet of motorboats.
