Nestled in a provincial park, Roche Lake Resort is known as a top-tier fishing destination, celebrated for the prized Kamloops variety rainbow trout. Enjoy your stay in comfort in this renovated, privately-owned quiet end-unit. A 1/2 duplex cabin with soaring high ceilings and impressive large wood rafters. A wilderness playground awaits. Fish, hike, bike, explore. Enjoy your coffee on front deck or spacious patio. Park at the doorstep & moor your boat at a private slip at the dock. The space After your last cast of the day you can relax in tranquility and privacy away from the hustle and bustle to rejuvenate for your next big day on the water at this last chalet on the road, which comfortably sleeps 4 adults. Enter into a well appointed open concept living room with vaulted ceilings, propane fireplace, dining area, and newly renovated fully equipped kitchen. Granite countertops, Smart range, microwave, fridge, and ample cupboard and counter space are ready for your culinary creations. The bedroom on the main floor has a queen sized bed with views overlooking the lilac trees, large patio, and forest. A newly renovated bathroom with on-demand tankless water heater ensures you will also have plenty of hot water for your jetted shower. The stairwell leads to the 2nd floor/ 350 sq ft of open loft space with 1 queen, 1 double, and 1 single bed with down comforters. The workspace desk comes in handy for for your business travels, the avid fly tier or to simply charge your phones. The chalet accommodates good Wifi. Please remember to bring your own linens (sheets and pillow cases) and towels as they are not supplied. We have a Brita Filter water pitcher in the fridge for your use, but still recommend you bring your own drinking water. There is also a BBQ on the patio with plenty of room for outdoor living. BBQ USE does not include cleaning of the BBQ after use. Please be sure to clean BBQ when done. A fee will be charged by cleaners and forwarded to you if you forget to clean it. -1 BOAT SLIP comes with your cabin rental. -2 PARKING SPOTS (2 vehicles max) -5 minute walk to the resort dock . -Kamloops is only 30 minutes away. Fully equipped kitchen: – Fridge – Stove – Toaster – Microwave – Coffee pot – Dishes – Utensils – Cups & glasses – Pots & pans -Heating -Hot water *NOTE: •Cell service can be spotty in some locations on the resort, especially during times of higher user use. •There is not a convenience store at the resort, no boat rentals, no firewood for sale. So please arrive with everything that you will need to make the most of your stay. Guest access You have full access to your half-duplex and surrounding patio, as well as to the resort amenities such as the dock, boat launch, communal fire-pit, and resort outdoor grounds. Your cabin rental includes: -one boat slip (subject to sufficient water levels). -Outdoor Pool -Boat Launch -Very well stocked kitchen with many pots, pans, appliances, serving platters, baking trays, coffee filters, salt and pepper. -Fast Starlink Wifi (most units here don’t have this!) -TV with included streaming of Netflix, U-tube, etc included! -Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, Hand soap, and Kitchen Soap all provided (and high quality!) -Shower fixture with separate back jets. -Communal Fire-pit (when no fire ban. Wood is not supplied). The DRIVE/ROAD IN: after you turn off the highway, there is 11km/15 minutes of a maintained gravel/dirt road. Variety of conditions possible, but graded regularly. Not many potholes but some washboard should be expected at times. It is not a 4 x4 road and regular vehicles can handle the road. It is a lovely meandering road through beautiful fields and some forest, with gentle turns and small hills, nothing steep. Other things to note BEDDING & TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. Guests BRING own. BRING: SHEETS, PILLOWS, TOWELS (for shower/pool) and BLANKETS. BBQ USE: DOES NOT INCLUDE CLEANING OF the BBQ after use. Please be sure to clean BBQ when done. A fee will be charged by cleaners and forwarded to you if you forget to clean it well. KITCHEN CLEANING & TRASH DISPOSAL/RECYCLING are NOT included in cleaning fee*. We are trying to keep cleaning fee low for everyone. (*Additional fee will be apply, if not done by guest.) 2 BOATS & 2 VEHICLES MAX (1 Boat Slip): Your stay at the cabin allows for 2 boats and 2 vehicles on premise, with 1 boat slip at the dock. Best boats to use at Roche Lake are low draft/shallow draft/Jon boat for application of water levels under 3’. (If you feel you need to have additional vehicles and boats, please ask and we will inquire if space). GIVE LICENSE PLATES: Guests will be required to provide vehicle license plate numbers, prior to arrival. NO SMOKING: No smoking inside or outside of cabin on deck or patio. NO PARTIES: No loud music or partying permitted. POOL: open seasonally, usually by July 1. *No refunds given if pool unexpectedly closes. BRING everything you will need for your stay, as there is not a convenience store nearby. PROVIDED: DISH SOAP, DISH TOWELS, SHOWER SOAPS, COFFEE FILTERS are provided.
