Welcome to the apartment at TheRedBarn, a spacious upstairs 2-bdrm apt. in a newly renovated 1930s Texas farmhouse. Plenty of parking! Located on a gated 5-acre property on Fisher Street, Goldthwaite's main road, north of our quaint town center, where you'll find restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, a museum, a library, and several cute shops within a mile. The space Please read the full description before making your reservation! The price includes a two-bedroom, second-floor apartment with a private entrance and accommodation for four. For an additional fee, up to five guests can be accommodated using the sleeper sofa in the living room. You'll also enjoy free parking (including horse or equipment trailer parking) on the gated property, access to park-like shared grounds, gazebo with fire pit, and use of the BBQ grill. Check-in / Check-out While check-in is set at 4pm, please feel free to reach out to us if you arrive earlier. We are happy to provide earlier access if the apartment is ready. We will also always gladly store your luggage upon early arrival, if needed. Checkout is set at 11am. As with check-in, please let us know if you need additional time and we will always try our best to accommodate your travel schedule. The Space You will enter the property through the large gate and park in your two reserved spots to the left. Follow the “Guests Entrance – Airbnb” sign along the small stone path to the front of the house (facing Fisher Street). Use the provided key code to enter the foyer through the main door. From the foyer, take the narrow staircase to reach The Red Barn Apartment on the second floor. As you enter, you'll find a spacious living room with a kitchenette and a small breakfast table. The kitchenette includes a small fridge, microwave, water kettle, and single-cup Keurig coffee maker, along with cutlery, bowls, cups, plates, and wine glasses. To the right, you'll find the large master bedroom with a king size bed, writing desk, luggage caddy, and walk-in closet fitted with hangers. Adjacent to the living room is a modern bathroom with a bathtub and shower, plus conveniences such as complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer. The second bedroom is located to the right of the bathroom, down five steps. It features two single beds and while it has no windows, it features vaulted ceilings, creating a unique, cozy space, ideal for relaxing or for kids to play. Guest access Included Guest Access: • Everything in the apartment is for our guest use and convenience • Fresh linens and towels (will gladly be washed/replaced after every 3rd night stay, if requested) • Bathroom toiletries will be provided including hair dryer • High-Speed fiber optics WiFi service • Cable TV • Shared property/grounds, which include a beautiful seasonal creek • Shared BBQ and BBQ accessories • Free gated parking • Free large vehicle parking, including horse trailers Additional fee-based services offered: • Laundry service (wash and fold only) Other things to note Other things to note: • As the owner is living on the ground floor, please respect the posted quiet time between 10pm and 7am • Please put any dirty dishes and cutlery inside the plastic basket located in the kitchenet and place it on the bench in the downstairs foyer. • No pets are allowed in the apartment, except for registered service animals We aim to provide complimentary amenities generally enough to cover our guests’ confirmed time of visit.
