Legend says that in these places, Cornelio Caprara, Cardinal of the Holy Roman Church, we are in the year 1765, who mysteriously died while on his way to the Sistine Chapel, he was seen wandering around for the 4 days following his death despite the chronicles of the time narrate that his body had been embalmed. It seems that before his death he had not finished a game of chess, a game he loved to play with one of his servants, who lived in this area which was countryside at the time. It is said that, now feeling close to death, he wanted to dedicate himself in peace to this passion of his by having a wax mask made that simulated the embalmed body and that in these 4 days he played his last game here, fortunately winning, because the stakes were the family palace whose loss would have brought discredit and dishonor to his name. Look for some clues among the pictures... Registration details IT058091C2I4PK37FO
