Come relax at Firefly River Cabin! Explore a 2.5 acre lot that runs along the Illinois River - great views, a cozy hot tub, billiards/ping pong table, propane fire pit (s’mores included!), large outdoor dining/entertaining area, kids loft/board games & swings. You’ll love splashing around the low water bridge & sipping coffee in our swing by the river. AND we’re only a 12 minute direct shot to the Hogs baseball stadium (Hwy 265 turns into Razorback Road, not a single traffic light on the way!). The space Room 1 (master, main floor) - king bed / full bath, TV, extra floor space for a pack n’ play if needed. Full sized desk/work area overlooking the backyard & mountains. Room 2 (downstairs) - queen bed / full bath - nice views of the outdoors out of both windows. Floor space for an air mattress if needed. Room 3 (downstairs) - queen bed / no bath - nice views of the woods & deck area. Room 4 (main floor) - large twin sized daybed by windows overlooking the woods, includes a kids loft (the loft can sleep a few kids if needed - we recommend bringing extra sleeping bags or an air mattress). Stocked with board games for those rainy days. Living room (main floor) - half bath / the couches in the living room don’t become sleeper sofas but can still be slept on comfortably. Laundry room (downstairs) - full-size washer & dryer. Kitchen - includes an oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, all the usual cooking utensils, dishes, pots/pans, toaster & a single-serve Keurig (we always keep a few pods stocked, half caffeinated & half-non). The table holds 6-8 people & the bar holds 4. (Fun fact: the kitchen table easily converts into a pool table & ping pong table! Accessories are stored inside the bench seating). There’s a large hydraulic window & French doors that can be opened to connect to the patio/table top bar seating (8 stools). Entertainment - guests can enjoy our YouTube TV & Prime accounts but will have to login to any other desired apps on the smart TVs (1 in the kitchen, 1 in the living room, 1 in the master bedroom, 1 in the kids loft). Hot tub - 5 person, Nordic Retreat SE ‘Northern Lights’ edition, 2 jet functions & multi-colored lighting creates the perfect night time ambiance! The river - nearly 500 feet from the house (can view a very small portion of it from the upper deck). There’s a kayak under the deck that’s available for guests, but the water is usually shallow enough to explore on foot due to all of the beautiful rock formations in the area. Water shoes & nets are highly recommended! The depth of the river is highly dependent on rainfall - it can be really flowing during rainy seasons or extremely dry in late summer/early fall to where the water is barely flowing & only shin-deep. Pet policy: Pets are no longer allowed indoors for any bookings made after 5/13/25. (We’ve had some issues with extreme pet hair, so we’ve decided to incorporate this policy & enforce a $200 fee for violators). But we still love animals! The yard is spacious and rather private, so if you need to bring your furry friend, they are allowed to remain outdoors. The underside of the deck is covered & stays dry during rain, so that would be a nice option for your pets. And we ARE flexible on the policy - so if your pet is hypoallergenic or you’re able to keep your pet kenneled indoors, then we may be able to work with you, as we do keep a large kennel on-site. We can probably work with you - just ask! 🐶 Zipline - unfortunately due to issues finding adequate insurance coverage, we’ve had to remove this feature from the amenities list, but there are still some swings on the property for guests to enjoy. We really think you’ll enjoy everything - the cozy hot tub, the views, playing pool & ping pong, the board games in the office, roasting s’mores over the propane fire pit, playing Baggo on the back deck and relaxing in the wooden rocking swing down by the river! Come make some lasting family memories in nature & stay with us! Guest access Guests have full access to the property & access to the house via a keypad code which will be provided on check in-day.
