A countryside OASIS in Carpinteria, the Ravenwood Estate is a 1.87-acre PRIVATE ESTATE, with lush gardens, features 7 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, split between a COUNTRY CHIC main home and a CHARMING rustic cottage. Soak in the HOT TUB under a starlit sky, surrounded by fragrant gardens and adjacent to a VINEYARD. Laughter is heard near the sparkling POOL, (seasonally heated.) Nestled in a town known for the "World's Safest Beach," the estate offers a peaceful retreat steeped in small-town charm. The space Enjoy the privacy! This estate is completely private, complete with a gate. Inside, the CHEF’S KITCHEN entices with the delicious aroma of fresh ingredients, perfect for creating unforgettable meals with family and friends. Country chic, but rustic at the same time, some antique and modern features adorn this very special property. Just a short drive away, adventure awaits—hike coastal trails, surf gentle waves, or savor exquisite wines. This country chic retreat sleeps 14. The grounds are beautiful and lush with foliage. The pool is seasonally heated (June, July, August, and September) but can be heated for $100 a day outside of these months (it takes 24 hours to heat up). You are welcome to turn on the hot tub at any time and is included with your stay, it takes a few hours to heat up or you may remind us on the day of your arrival and we can turn it on earlier for you. The home features a number of antique pieces of furniture to complement the home's country style. An outdoor hot shower nestled in the garden, adjacent to the pool, offers a refreshing way to rinse off or begin your day. Optional: Book an in-home massage, private chef, and more. The property sleeps 14 people. 10 guests sleep in the main home, and 4 sleep in the cottage guesthouse. The Country Chic Main House is a two-story, 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath home that sleeps 10. The pool and hot tub are located just outside. The soaring ceilings make this home feel open and light. The main home has two Smart TV's for your use, one 45" TV in the upstairs family room, and one 55" Smart TV on the main floor near the fireplace. The home is heated by radiant floor heating and has no A/C. Fans are in each room if necessary but are rarely needed. The Main House: 5,000 Sq Ft | Pet Friendly (w/ Fee) | ~4 Mi to Town & Beach Bedroom 1: King Bed Bedroom 2: Queen Bed Bedroom 3: Queen Bed Bedroom 4: Queen Bed Bedroom 5: Regular Size Twin Bunkbeds. These are low to the ground unlike a typical bunk bed to make it easier for our cleaners to clean. Spa (available anytime and takes a few hours to heat up), covered patio w/ outdoor fireplace & foosball table, chaise lounge chairs. Pool (seasonally heated for free June, July, August.) The pool can be heated for an extra cost of $100 per day at any other time and takes 24 hours to heat up, 82 degrees maximum. (depth 3’-7’). HOME FEATURES: Smart TV w/ cable, home office w/ remote workspace, dining table w/ chandelier, piano, decorative fireplaces, en-suite baths, soaking tubs, bright & modern rustic decor, blue-tooth in-home speaker system. CHEF'S KITCHEN: Cooking basics, stainless steel appliances, dishware & flatware, tea kettle, toaster, crockpot, Keurig coffee maker, and standard coffee maker, plus espresso machine. GENERAL: WiFi, washer/dryer, towels/linens, hair dryer, iron/board, radiant heated floors, solar panels. The Rustic Cottage is a 2-bedroom, 1-bath. Adjacent to the main house on the property, this guesthouse hosts tasteful decor and peaceful wooded surroundings. After a day of sightseeing in Santa Barbara or surfing on Carpinteria Beach, come home to warm up by the gas fireplace or stretch out on the covered porch, complete with scenic garden views. No AC. The Cottage: Dining table, gas fireplace, clawfoot soaking tub, covered back porch, lounge seating, landscaped wooded surroundings KITCHEN: Cooking basics, stainless steel appliances, microwave, dishware & flatware, tea kettle. GENERAL: Free WiFi, towels/linens, gas stove heating. THERE IS NO A/C. ACCESSIBILITY: Step-free access, single-story property. The pool has a pool cover that can be removed or covered at the press of a button on the wall. The 2 acre property is fully fenced, however, the heights of the fence vary, some as low as 3 feet, including field wire. A video camera facing the parking lot will be active and recording during your stay. There are a few chickens in a coup that our neighbor's child takes care of for us daily :) No, we don't allow weddings or events. Thank you for your understanding. Guest access You are welcome to the enjoyment of the entire 1.87-acre estate. Other things to note Absolutely no smoking of any kind! Quiet hours begin at 9 PM. Please move your conversations at that time inside as our neighbors may need to work in the morning. The home has two cameras on the exterior of the home to ensure our maximum occupancy is honored and only face the parking lot. A clear identifiable image of yourself is required when a booking occurs as those who host need to know who they are inviting into their homes.
