Description

Escape to the high desert and stay in our 27' travel trailer, nestled on 80 acres of serene land with stunning views of the Chiricahua Mountains. Enjoy starry nights and panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges, including Chiricahua National Monument, Dragoon Mountains. You’ll also have access to a gas grill for outdoor cooking and our fire pit. NOTE: our dogs roam our property and tend to bark at night to protect our animals from coyotes and bobcats and chase off javelina and skunks. The space Our travel trailer comes complete with a king-size bed with linens, kitchen with amenities, table with bench seats (which folds down into a twin-size bed), couch (which folds down into a 46” x 42” bed – good for a small child), two reclining chairs, central heating air conditioner and a mini split unit in the bedroom. Also includes a private bathroom and shower with hot and cold running water. The king bed sits somewhat high off the ground due to the memory foam topper. The RV accommodates up to 3 people (adults) comfortably. There is also a small Weber gas grill (that hooks up to the trailer) or a larger gas grill (that is on the front patio) that guests can use. The travel RV is separated from the main house by a 40’ shipping container to provide privacy for our guests. Guests are also welcome to use the table and chairs on the patio as well as the BBQ grill. We are pet friendly, however, we ask that you do NOT bring your dog(s) as we have had some issues with guest's dogs. We have two cows (heifers), two outdoor dogs, three outdoor cats and 14 chickens (1 rooster and 13 hens). Our rooster does what typical roosters do and crow in the morning. Our dogs roam the property during the day and night. At night time the dogs occasionally bark to protect our animals from coyotes, bobcats and skunks. We provide earplugs or a fan for white noise for the barking dogs. Personal items should not be left outside as one of our dogs tends to steal or chew items that are left out. During the warmer months, please be sure to watch out for rattlesnakes. Guest access Feel free to meander through our property. You are welcome to explore and enjoy the entire 80 acres of our property. We have a walking path along the fence line of our 80 acres. There is a fire pit in front of the main house that guests are welcome to use. We also have plenty of wood for you to use. Guests are also welcome to use the table and chairs on the patio. Other things to note We have wildlife such as skunks, deer, javelina, tortoises and rattlesnakes. All three of our dogs tend to bark at night if there's wildlife (coyotes and skunks) outside as they are protecting our cows. There are ear plugs or there is a small fan that can be used for white noise. Sometimes our hens lay more eggs than what we are able to eat. If you would like some fresh eggs, please ask, and if we have some available, we are happy to give you some at no charge.
