The space Welcome to our two-story lakehouse, a relaxing retreat perfect for families and groups. The home offers plenty of space to unwind, with all bedrooms located upstairs and comfortable living areas downstairs designed for gathering and enjoying the lake atmosphere. Sleeping Arrangements (Sleeps up to 12 Guests, Max 15 Allowed) The home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests based on the following setup: • Bedroom 1: King-size bed and an extendable chair sleeper (sleeps 3) • Bedroom 2: Queen-size bed and a bunk bed with two twin-size mattresses (sleeps 4) • Bedroom 3: Bunk bed with two twin-size mattresses and one additional twin bed (sleeps 3) • Additional Option: A blow-up mattress is available downstairs and can sleep 2 more guests We set the guest limit at 12 for comfortable accommodations. However, we will allow a maximum of 15 guests if you bring your own sleeping arrangements (such as air mattresses or sleeping bags). These can fit in the upstairs area or the downstairs seating and living areas. If you want to have a creative and fun setup, feel free to bring a tent and set it up outside. The open space offers a beautiful clear view of the sky and stars, perfect for stargazing or a family camp-style night by the lake. Bathrooms • Upstairs: Full-size bathroom with shower • Downstairs: Full-size bathroom with shower Kitchen & Dining The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay and includes an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, basic cookware, dishes, and utensils. Please note there is no dishwasher, so guests will need to hand wash dishes. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags. If you need more during your stay, please plan to bring additional supplies. The dining area provides plenty of space for family meals and gatherings. Living & Common Areas The downstairs features an open-concept layout with a comfortable living area, kitchen area, and sitting area, perfect for relaxing, cooking, and spending time together. There is a fireplace inside the home, but it is not available for guest use. It is decorative only, and for safety reasons, we ask that guests do not attempt to light or operate it. Outdoor Space Step outside and enjoy the lake air, with plenty of room to hangout and an open-style charcoal grill, perfect for cookouts with family and friends. Lake & Natural Surroundings This is a lakehouse located near a natural body of water, so guests should be mindful of the typical elements that come with lake living - such as insects, wildlife, and fluctuating water conditions. Depending on lake water levels, the appearance and accessibility of the shoreline can vary. When water levels are low, we keep the area around our pier trimmed and maintained, but please note we cannot control the entire lake bed or surrounding vegetation. Neighborhood & Noise Policy The lakehouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. To respect our neighbors and maintain a peaceful environment, we ask all guests to keep noise levels down between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. House Rules Summary • No parties or events. This home is intended for relaxation and quality time, not large gatherings. • No smoking indoors. You may smoke outside, but please dispose of cigarette waste properly. • Pet Policy: Up to 2 well-behaved, house-trained pets are welcome (50 lbs max each). Pets must be kenneled if left unattended, not bathed indoors, not allowed on furniture or beds, and no towels should be used with pets. Please clean up after them outside. • Water & Septic System Notice: Our home operates on a well water system with whole-home filtration and sanitizing. To protect it, please do not connect any blow-up inflatables, sprinklers, or water toys directly to the hose or water supply. We are also on a septic system, so do not flush paper towels, wipes, feminine products, or any personal items down the toilets. Only toilet paper should be flushed to prevent plumbing damage and system backups. What to Expect This home is designed for comfort and connection, offering lakehouse charm with modern convenience. With flexible sleeping options, two full bathrooms, spacious common areas, outdoor amenities, and lake access, it’s ideal for family trips, fishing weekends, or peaceful getaways.
