Hemlock's Hideaway - Springtime escape in Glacier

Welcome to Glacier! This is a special place in Washington like no other! Hemlock's Hideaway has been my full time home for 7 years and now I welcome all adventure seekers, powder hounds, loam lusters, river wanderers, foragers, forest bathers, and lounge lizards to enjoy this space and its surroundings. Hemlock's Hideaway is named for the many Hemlock trees in this area as well as my floofy Golden Retriever. Come stay and begin your Glacier and Mt Baker adventures! The space In a beautiful forested location, Hemlock's Hideaway is a cabin in the woods but set up as a full time home with modern amenities. The cabin has 3 large bedrooms, 2 full baths, an enormous kitchen, and a warm open living and dining area perfect for entertaining. In the private, fenced back yard you will find a wooded wonderland with a fire pit, hot tub, BBQ, and tables to take it all in. At night it gets very dark....enjoy the stars fireside or in the hot tub with an adult beverage! The front yard boasts another option for fireside seating as well as a heated covered porch with a day bed. Perfect for storm watching under a blanket or reading with a warm cup of coffee. Hemlock's Hideaway is set up as a home away from home with everything you need to unwind and enjoy a nice getaway. Guest access While staying at Hemlock's Hideaway you will have access to all areas and amenities except for the two sheds in the back. Our house is your house! Other things to note Groceries: There are limited places to get groceries. Plan ahead to shop on your way. For anything last minute you will find Crossroads Grocery in Maple Falls. Last stop for gas is Maple Falls but I recommend getting it in Kendall as it's cheaper. Connectivity: This is a mountain area. It's still very rustic/rural and therefore no cellular service except T-Mobile. There is wifi at the cabin however due to weather conditions there is a possibility internet could go down at anytime. That being said, make sure to download all the music, movies, and podcasts you need prior to arrival. Power outages occur but we have a whole house generator.
