In the backyard of our holiday home you will now find an atmospheric wood-fired hot tub. Perfect for cozy evenings, ultimate relaxation and special moments during your stay. Experience pure luxury in the nature! *PLEASE NOTE* The wood for the hot tub is not provided and must be brought by the guests themselves. On average, three bags of wood are needed to warm up the hot tub properly. The hot tub does not have a whirpool feature. SAUNA We have placed a sauna in our holiday home, ready for your relaxation! Our Cozy N°2 holiday home is located on a small-scale holiday park, surrounded by nature, close to the beautiful Bergharens Forest where you can enjoy hiking and less than twenty minutes away by car from Nijmegen, the largest city in the province of Gelderland. The holiday park is quietly located on a swimming pool, there is a playground, volleyball court, petting zoo and adventure miniature golf. The swimming pool on the park is the culmination of a much larger recreational area, Leisurelands. You will find a great lake here, the Green Hills, and is well worth a visit. Adjacent to the park you will find Viking Fundustry with, among other things, a climbing park, and many other activities such as building rafts, squad driving, laser tag and fun knight activities for the little ones. The holiday park is also ideally located for various events such as the ‘Nijmeegse 4-day’ or ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’. The cycling hubs 71,72 and 94 are close to the park and take you past picturesque villages, orchards and the beautiful river landscape of Meuse and Waal. The Doddendael clog path is also definitely recommended. The space Ground floor When you enter our Cozy holiday home through the hall, there is access to the toilet, the bathroom, the utility room, the first bedroom and the living room. The bathroom has a rain shower and hand shower, a towel set for each guest, consisting of a bath towel, towel and face cloth. Of course, a hair dryer is not missing, it can be found in the bathroom furniture. In the cozy living room there is also the kitchen, which has a dishwasher, combination microwave, Nespresso appliance, kettle, large fridge-freezer combination and a very complete kitchen inventory. Coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, pepper, salt and herbs, are provided to be able to enjoy carefree upon arrival. The cozy seating area is garden-furnished, and also offers a nice view of the wood stove where you can enjoy the crackling fireplace during gruesome days. The wood for the stove is not provided and must be brought by the guests themselves. Of course, fast WiFi and a SmartTV are also missing here, very consciously we have chosen to only provide the living room with a TV. In the wall closet are some books, in the basket under the television some games, a coloring book and pencils for our smallest guests. In the bedroom on the ground floor you will find two single box springs, if desired, these are very easy to assemble into a double bed. An open closet is also available for clearly storing clothes. In the utility room there is a washing machine, a laundry rack and pegs are also not missing. In this space there are also the cushions for the chairs in the garden, the high chair, a vacuum cleaner and golf clubs and golf balls, for a few hours of fun on the miniature golf course. Upper floor When you come upstairs in the hall, you will find it opposite the stairs, which can be provided with a stair gate (this is in the walk-in closet), the walk-in closet. In this, there are cabinets on both sides for storing clothes, there is also a box with 6 extra duvets here, which can be used additionally if desired. Of course, an ironing board and iron are not missing and there is also enough space here to store the travel bags during the stay. In the bedroom on the left side there is a bedroom with two single box springs, a ceiling fan and the sauna. In the bedroom on the right, also equipped with two single box springs, there is also a crib, a changing table and a rack with some (reading)books and a game, the small bench is a wonderful place for reading a story before bed. Garden Our holiday home has a nice garden all around, the garden offers a lot of privacy due to the many greenery around it. In the backyard, our wood-fired hot tub is ready for use. When you arrive, the hot tub has always been cleaned. If the hot tub is used, it will have to be filled on arrival, in the context of sustainability we have chosen this, so that the hot tub is only filled when it will also be used. We do not use chlorine or other chemicals and this is also not allowed to add yourself (such as chlorine, bath foam, oils or other products). We consciously opt for a natural and environmentally friendly way of use. For longer stays, the water may of course be refreshed. *PLEASE NOTE* The wood for the hot tub is not provided and must be brought by the guests themselves. On average, three to four 15-pound bags of wood are needed to properly heat the hot tub. The terrace at the rear features a large table with 6 chairs. The sunshade provides the necessary shade on a sunny day. On the side of our holiday home is another terrace, under the vegetation, overlooking the fig tree, whose figs can of course be picked in season, it is wonderfully relaxed. Guest access The facilities of the park and all rooms of our holiday home are accessible for guests. Only the closet on the ground floor under the stairs, the closet in the bedroom on the right and the shed are for private use and therefore not accessible to our guests. Before arrival, you will receive a message from us with the latest information for a wonderfully carefree stay. It is possible to park one car at the house. Additional cars can be parked in the large parking lot at the beginning of the park. From the parking lot it's a few minutes walk to the cottage. To ensure the serene atmosphere in the park, this stay is only available for recreational purposes. Business bookings, accommodation for staff or migrant workers are not allowed. Our vacation home is available for rent for recreational use only. Other things to note *Additional Rules* This park is only suitable for recreational stays. Labor migrants are not allowed in this park. In the event of violation, high fines may be issued by the Municipality and we will therefore charge the guest in whose name the reservation is placed. This policy is agreed to when booking our listing. For families with young children, a stair gate is available. Guests can place this themselves if they wish. Installation and use of the stair gate are entirely at the guest's own responsibility and risk. The host is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from the placement or use of the stair gate. The upstairs bedroom on the left, provides access to the balcony, access to the balcony is NOT allowed, if guests will still use the balcony, this is completely outside our permission and completely at your own risk. Visitor Policy It is not permitted to host additional guests beyond the number of people for whom the reservation was made. This also applies to visitors during dinners. ​ Wood-burning stove & hot tub Our wood-burning stove and wood-fired hot tub add to the ambiance during your stay. To keep the experience enjoyable for everyone, we follow the guidelines of the Stookwijzer (Smoking Guide). This means that heating is only allowed when indicated by the Heating Guide, depending on the weather and air quality. We kindly ask you to take this into account. Any fines incurred for not following these guidelines will be the responsibility of the guest. It is strictly forbidden to undertake any form of commercial activities without express and advance written permission. This includes, but is not limited to, the production, recording, editing or distribution of film material for commercial purposes. This includes all forms of video and footage used for promotion, advertising, sales, or other commercial exploitation. Violating these rules may result in legal action, including claims for damages and other measures to protect the rights of interested parties. Permission should always be requested in advance and is only provided under strict conditions. When booking our property, these above terms are agreed. This house has been refurbished and decorated with a lot of love. We really appreciate it if our belongings are handled with care. Please do not make noise in the garden before 9:00 a.m. and after 10:00 p.m.
