In the backyard of our vacation home, you will now find a cozy wood-fired hot tub. Perfect for cozy evenings, ultimate relaxation and special moments during your stay. Experience pure luxury in nature! *PLEASE NOTE* The wood for the hot tub is not provided and must be brought by the guests themselves. On average, three bags of wood are needed to properly heat the hot tub. The hot tub does not have a whirlpool function. SAUNA We have installed a sauna in our vacation home, ready for your relaxation! Our Cozy N°2 vacation home is located in a small-scale vacation park, surrounded by nature, close to the beautiful Bergharens Bos, where you can enjoy hiking, and less than a 20-minute drive from Nijmegen, the largest city in the province of Gelderland. The vacation park is quietly located by a swimming lake. The vacation park is also ideally located for various events such as the "Nijmegen Four Days Marches" or "Down the Rabbit Hole." Cycling junctions 71, 72 and 94 are close to the park and take you past picturesque villages, orchards and the beautiful river landscape of Meuse and Waal. The Doddendael Klompenpad (Clog Trail) is also definitely recommended. The Space First floor When you enter our Cozy vacation home through the hallway, there is access to the toilet, the bathroom, the utility room, the first bedroom and the living room. The bathroom has a rain shower and a hand shower, a set of towels for each guest, consisting of a bath towel, hand towel and face towel. Of course, a hair dryer is provided, and you can find it in the bathroom cabinet. The cozy living room also houses the kitchen, which is equipped with a dishwasher, combi microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, large fridge-freezer, and a very complete set of kitchen utensils. Coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, pepper, salt and spices are provided so that you can enjoy your stay without any worries upon arrival. The cozy sitting area faces the garden and also offers a nice view of the wood-burning stove, where you can enjoy the crackling fireplace on chilly days. The wood for the stove is not provided and must be brought by the guests themselves. Of course, high-speed WiFi and a Smart TV are also available here. We have deliberately chosen to only equip the living room with a TV. In the wall cabinet are some books, in the basket under the TV are some games, a coloring book and pencils for our youngest guests. In the bedroom on the ground floor, you will find two single box-spring beds, which, if desired, can be very easily joined together to form a double bed. There is also an open closet for neatly storing clothes. In the utility room, there is a washing machine, a drying rack and clothes pegs. This room also contains the cushions for the chairs in the garden, the high chair, a vacuum cleaner, and golf clubs and golf balls for a few hours of fun on the miniature golf course. Upper floor When you come upstairs into the hall, opposite the stairs, which can be fitted with a stair gate (this is in the walk-in closet), you will find the walk-in closet. There are wardrobes on both sides for storing clothes, and there is also a box with 6 extra duvets, which can be used additionally if desired. Of course, an ironing board and iron are provided, and there is also plenty of space here to store your travel bags during your stay. In the bedroom on the left, there is a bedroom with two single box-spring beds, a ceiling fan and the sauna. In the bedroom on the right, which also has two single box-spring beds, there is also a crib, a changing table and a shelf with some (story) books and a game. The small sofa is a lovely place to read a bedtime story. Garden Our vacation home has a nice garden all around, and the garden offers a lot of privacy due to the abundance of greenery surrounding it. In the backyard, our wood-fired hot tub is ready for use. The hot tub is always cleaned on arrival. If the hot tub is to be used, it will have to be filled by you upon arrival. In the interest of sustainability, we have chosen to do this so that the hot tub is only filled when it is going to be used. We do not use chlorine or other chemicals, and it is also not allowed to add them yourself (such as chlorine, bubble bath, oils or other products). We deliberately choose a natural and environmentally friendly way of use. For longer stays, the water may, of course, be changed. *PLEASE NOTE* The wood for the hot tub is not provided and must be brought by the guests themselves. On average, three to four bags of wood weighing 6.7 kg each are needed to properly heat the hot tub. The terrace at the back has a large table with 6 chairs. The awning provides the necessary shade on a sunny day. On the side of our vacation home, there is another terrace, under the greenery, overlooking the fig tree, whose figs may, of course, be picked in season. It is a wonderful place to relax. Guest access The park's facilities and all areas of our vacation home are accessible to guests. Only the closet on the ground floor under the stairs, the closet in the bedroom on the right-hand side and the shed are for private use and therefore not accessible to our guests. Before your arrival, you will receive a message from us with the latest information for a wonderful, carefree stay. It is possible to park one car at the house. Additional cars can be parked in the large parking lot at the beginning of the park. From the parking lot, it is a few minutes' walk to the cottage. To ensure the serene atmosphere in the park, this accommodation is only available for recreational purposes. Business bookings, accommodation for staff or migrant workers are not allowed. Our vacation home is available for rent for recreational use only. Other things to note *Additional Rules* This park is only suitable for recreational stays. Labor migrants are not allowed in this park. In the event of violation, high fines may be issued by the Municipality and we will therefore charge the guest in whose name the reservation is placed. This policy is agreed to when booking our listing. For families with young children, a stair gate is available. Guests can place this themselves if they wish. Installation and use of the stair gate are entirely at the guest's own responsibility and risk. The host is not liable for any damage or injury resulting from the placement or use of the stair gate. The upstairs bedroom on the left, provides access to the balcony, access to the balcony is NOT allowed, if guests will still use the balcony, this is completely outside our permission and completely at your own risk. Visitor Policy It is not permitted to host additional guests beyond the number of people for whom the reservation was made. This also applies to visitors during dinners. ​ Wood-burning stove & hot tub Our wood-burning stove and wood-fired hot tub add to the ambiance during your stay. To keep the experience enjoyable for everyone, we follow the guidelines of the Stookwijzer (Smoking Guide). This means that heating is only allowed when indicated by the Heating Guide, depending on the weather and air quality. We kindly ask you to take this into account. Any fines incurred for not following these guidelines will be the responsibility of the guest. It is strictly forbidden to undertake any form of commercial activities without express and advance written permission. This includes, but is not limited to, the production, recording, editing or distribution of film material for commercial purposes. This includes all forms of video and footage used for promotion, advertising, sales, or other commercial exploitation. Violating these rules may result in legal action, including claims for damages and other measures to protect the rights of interested parties. Permission should always be requested in advance and is only provided under strict conditions. When booking our property, these above terms are agreed. This house has been refurbished and decorated with a lot of love. We really appreciate it if our belongings are handled with care. Please do not make noise in the garden before 9:00 a.m. and after 10:00 p.m.
