Majestic Bonfim is a modern apartment located in a quiet area of Porto. Close to Praça dos Poveiros and a few minutes' walk to the city's historic center. It has a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a living room with a sofa bed, a full kitchenette and a balcony with windows. The apartment is on the 4th floor and the building has an elevator. It features cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Campo 24 Agosto metro station is located 500 meters from the apartment. The space The accommodation is equipped with a self check-in system. Although guests can enter on their own, we are always available by message for whatever they need. Nearby the apartment, you can find a number of restaurants with traditional food, supermarkets, places to have breakfast and brunch, a subway station, buses, trains, taxis and city tours. Some places to visit: Torre dos Clérigos, Livraria Lello, Mercado do Bolhão, Avenida dos Aliados and Câmara Municipal, Estação de São Bento, Rua de Santa Catarina, Ponte Luiz I, Jardim do Morro, Ribeira, Palácio de Cristal, Estádio do Dragão, Caves do vinho do Porto, Centro histórico, Café Majestic and many others. The nightlife area is next to the Torre dos Clérigos. It is the main nightlife area and is located about 1000 meters from the accommodation, without being affected by the noise of the area. Praça dos Poveiros is located 500 meters from the accommodation, where you can also find several restaurants and bars. Campo 24 Agosto metro station is located 500 meters from the apartment. If you travel by plane, you can take metro line E from the airport to Trindade station. Then switch to line A, B, C or F and get off at Campo 24 Agosto station. At the airport you will find a blue stripe on the floor, which will guide you from the arrivals gate to the subway station. Guest access The apartment consists of a bedroom with a double bed (160x200), a full kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and a living room with a sofa bed (140x190), TV and dining table. Bed linen and towels are included, as are bath gel and toilet paper. The kitchen is fully stocked with stove, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee machine, and with kitchen utensils such as cutlery, crockery and pots. We always leave some essential goods such as napkins, kitchen cloths, dishwash, salt, pepper, sugar, aromatics, tea and biscuits. We leave no oil and olive oil for hygiene reasons. There are everything you need to make a good breakfast or other meal available. The apartment also has a nice balcony with windows, the ideal space for relaxing. Cable TV and free Wi-Fi are available. Cleaning of the accommodation is not included during your stay. Breakfast and other meals are not included, nor food such as oil/olive oil. It does not have Netflix. The television is not smarttv. We inform you that, in short stays (up to 4 nights), we do not usually carry out the replacement of towels. This practice is common in hotels, but in the tourist apartments we follow a different, more sustainable and environmentally friendly policy. The daily change of towels implies a high consumption of water and energy, with a significant impact on the planet. For stays longer than 4 nights, guests may request the replacement of towels, as long as the request is made at least one day in advance. Please be respectful of subsequent guests as the smell of tobacco is very difficult to remove. Violation of this rule implies a penalty of €50. The house has hot water, heated by a 50-liter cylinder. It is about 15 minutes of consecutive use. Afterwards, the cylinder refills with cold water, and it takes about 30 minutes to reheat the water. For that reason, long baths can prevent you from finishing your shower conveniently, or that another guest cannot enjoy a hot shower. Get good management of the baths, saving water. The planet and the environment thank you. Free parking is possible on the street. However, parking on the public road is something we have no control or responsibility over. Where possible, we recommend using paid or guarded car parks, which offer better safety conditions. Any situation or incident related to the parking (in parks or public) is the sole responsibility of the driver, and we only have to help by providing information about places where it is possible to park. At the landing of the stairs on the 4th floor (outside the apartment) there is a Vodafone communications center that emits some noise. However, it is not audible inside the apartment, since this is soundproofed. **** Important Notice – Building Rules **** We remind you that smoking is not permitted and no throwing cigarettes or trash out the windows. No parties or any kind of noise after 11 p.m. It is essential to respect the rest of the neighbors and all guests, ensuring the comfort of everyone in the building. Failure to comply with these rules may lead to cancellation of the reservation, without the right to a refund. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. **** Important information - construction **** Construction is currently underway in a neighboring apartment in the building, which may generate some noise during the day between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Other things to note You will be staying at someone's home, so treat it with care and respect. These are the house rules: a) Check-in: After 3 p.m. Guests must complete an accommodation form on our platform using a link we send by message in the booking confirmation. It must be filled out with the identification data of all guests. Check-in is only possible after completing the form. Please fill it out in advance, as this makes our work easier, avoiding leaving it for the day of your arrival. b) Check-out: By 11 a.m. With many check-ins and check-outs, unfortunately we are unable to facilitate early check-in or late check-out, as our cleaning team needs adequate time to clean the apartments. However, if you need a place to store your bags before check-in and after check-out, you can do so for free at our downtown office located at: Rua do Bolhão, 149 - 3rd Left The office is open: Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The office is closed on weekends and holidays. On these days, you can use one of the City Lockers available at some metro stations. We recommend the one at Trindade station. c) Towels and sheets are included, as well as toilet paper and shower gel. Also included: hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The accommodation has free Wi-Fi. Housekeeping is not included during the stay. Breakfast and other meals are not included, nor are foods such as oil/olive oil. It does not have Netflix. d) Guests are fully responsible for the safety of the children accompanying them throughout the stay, as well as for any inconvenience caused to other residents of the neighborhood. e) Guests should keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb other residents of the area, especially during rest hours (quiet hours: from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.), as well as during arrival and departure from the property. f) Excessive noise is prohibited under any circumstances and at any time, and may result in the immediate end of the stay, eviction and loss of the amount paid for the entire reservation. g) Guests are prohibited from behaving in a disrespectful manner towards residents of the area and should minimize the impact of their presence in the neighborhood. h) Entry to the property by any person not included in the reservation is prohibited. A fine of €100 per day will be charged for each extra unregistered guest, in addition to the additional fee. If an extra guest wants to stay overnight at the property, this must be communicated and approved during the booking process and will be subject to any extra fee specified in the final price, as long as it does not exceed the maximum number of people allowed. i) Any party on the property is strictly prohibited. A penalty of €300 will be applied to guests who do not comply with this rule, and the amount may be increased depending on the state in which the accommodation is left. j) Guests must collect garbage for public containers and must not leave any waste in the dwelling or in the common areas. k) Whenever leaving the property, guests must ensure that all doors and windows are securely closed to ensure the safety of the accommodation and prevent any damage (e.g. rain entering). l) To save energy, guests must turn off lights, heaters (including air conditioning if any), fans and electronic appliances whenever they are not needed. m) It is not allowed to leave heaters and/or air conditioning on when the house is unoccupied. n) Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. If this rule is not complied with, a penalty of €50 will be applied, in addition to any additional costs arising from the infraction (example: burns on furniture, extra cleaning to remove odors, etc.). Please be respectful of the following guests, as the smell of tobacco is very difficult to remove. o) Animals are not permitted in this accommodation. In case of non-compliance, a penalty of €100 will be applied, in addition to the resulting additional costs (example: extra cleaning, damage to furniture, coverings, etc.). p) Any damage or harm must be reported to us as soon as possible. Otherwise, it will be assumed that the damage occurred during the stay, and the guest will be charged. q) The cost for loss of keys is €30. r) If, at the time of check-out, the accommodation is left in an inadequate state of cleanliness, the guest will be responsible for the additional cost of extra cleaning (€20 per additional hour of cleaning). In addition, guests may not leave the keys in the lock on the inside, as it will be necessary to call a locksmith, whose cost is around €150, depending on the time of service. s) Failure to comply with any of these rules constitutes a violation of the accommodation reservation conditions. The owner/manager has the right to terminate the guest's stay if the guest does not comply with the rules or causes disturbance to neighbors and other residents of the area.
