Waterfront beach cottage in a peaceful setting with spectacular unobstructed views of Indian Cove, Faulkners Lighthouse and beyond! You won’t find a more wonderful place for your vacation. This lovely two bedroom home with sunroom and deck is perched above the ocean and directly fronts the beach to provide the ideal relaxing retreat. No matter which time of year you visit, you will appreciate the tranquility of the ocean and feel completely relaxed and at home during your stay. Beautiful spot!! This home is the perfect place for family vacations or entertaining and a wonderful place to relax and watch the water while drinking a glass of wine, reading a book or napping on a hammock. Set atop a private, walled property overlooking beautiful Daniel’s Beach and the salt marsh where the Ospreys nest and male perches on property limb is a delightful beach House retreat. Here you can barbecue and roast marshmallows then gaze at the stars over the cove after a day at the beach. There is also a bounty of activities including fishing, kayaking, biking and hiking. Entire Cottage and grounds including beach-front deck are available to guests (excluding basement and garage). We live in Town Mulberry Point Beach Association, Guilford, Connecticut. Just a short drive away is Guilford Center- some say the most beautiful town green in all of New England - offering churches, restaurants and quaint shops. The historic town of Guilford features the Henry Whitfield State Museum (1639), the oldest house in Connecticut and the oldest stone house in New England and is also home to the Thomas Griswold House Museum and the Hyland House Museum. Nearby attractions include Bishops Orchards and Winery (5 min), Craft Breweries and charming Stony Creek with tour boat cruises (10 min). Close to Yale University and Peabody museum (20 min). Local outlet malls in nearby Westbrook and Clinton. The area also offers plenty of nature beyond the cove including multiple hiking trails, (Menunkatuck Trail, Westwood Trail and Lost Lake trail) Parking for one vehicle on driveway in front of garage.
