Welcome to the Mountain View Basecamp! This large room with a private entrance is located in a quiet west Longmont neighborhood with mountain views & a 10 min. walk to beautiful McIntosh Lake. Get cozy with a comfy queen bed, an oversized jetted bathtub, portable air conditioning, ceiling fan, and heater for climate control options. Reliable WiFi and french doors leading to a fire pit & smoking area, hammock, and green backyard, this guest suite is waiting for you to come and chill. The space Central basecamp for Front Range adventures! Its location provides easy access to Boulder, Lyons, and Rocky Mountain National Park, making it ideal for exploring the region. The perfect spot to rejuvenate in between adventures. Walking distance to McIntosh Lake, a 5 mins. drive to picturesque Pella Crossing ponds, 8 mins. to Main Street Longmont, 10 mins from the beautiful mountain town of Lyons, 20mins from Boulder, and 40mins from Estes, base to Rocky Mountain National Park, an hour to Redrocks for a show. You can unwind in a large, private jacuzzi tub after a day of exploring the nearby mountains. Enjoy your very own backyard oasis - The suite offers a patio, fire pit, and hammock for a private and relaxing outdoor experience. Below are important details about our property. Please read thoroughly before booking and feel free to message us with any questions! DOG: Please be aware that thru the gate you enter into the backyard to access your private entry is shared both with us and with our dog. You will sometimes find her sunbathing on the upper deck next to your patio. We have eyes on her at all times when you are here & will accompany her in the morning and evening in the yard. If you wish to have no contact with Freya, please let us know through the messaging app and knowing your eta is always helpful. NOISE: Your room shares one wall with our living room so you may hear us vaguely next door. There is no one above your bedroom. The upstairs bathroom, however, is located directly above your bathroom, so you may hear footsteps occasionally and you will definitely hear water through shared wall. You may also hear our dog bark occasionally. COMMUNICATION: We ask that you respond to our messages, including letting us know what your estimated time of arrival will be. Additionally, we ask that you reach out to us whenever you have needs or concerns come up because we’d love to do whatever we can in the moment to make your stay as amazing as possible! We take pride in our home and in hosting you and would love to support you in feeling as comfortable as possible. While you are here, we will respect your privacy and only communicate as needed. We're happy to chat but will only engage if you initiate. YOUR SPACE: Bathroom: twin sinks, jetted bathtub, walk-in shower, and walk-in closet. Kitchenette Items: We ask that you enjoy all the amazing restaurants in town & do not plan to cook in your beautiful space. Leave it nice for the next person & PLEASE no washing dishes in the sinks. Quick microwave meals are ok. Disposable utensils, bowls, and plates provided. Coffee cups and wine glasses. Corkscrew wine opener, microwave, hot water kettle, electric coffee maker, and a french press. Popcorn, tea varieties, ground coffee and powdered creamer provided. Mini fridge & cooler for ice. Room (20 ft x 15 ft; 300 sq ft): queen bed, dressers, couch, hightop 2 top table, oversized chair and usb table, coffee table, and laptop friendly workspaces. While not depicted in pictures, a floor mattress and/or infant “pack n play” are provided upon request. No TV. Flagstone Patio: outdoor table, chairs, shade umbrella and lounge chair under the apple tree. Access to Shared Backyard: over head string lights, hammock, large table for "outdoor kitchen", 4-6 chairs with cushions and firepit with firewood & fire set-up provided upon request. Private Entry: Gate leads to backyard well-lit pathway to private entrance. No stairs. Parking: Reserved spot in driveway by the gate that leads to your private entrance. Guest access The space is entirely your own except for the shared backyard. Our elevated backyard deck is next to your private entry, so in warm weather you might find us chatting and enjoying a cup of coffee out there. If we meet in the backyard, we will greet you warmly while also respecting your time and privacy. Depending on the weather and red flag warnings, and given enough notice, we’re happy to reserve the fire pit for you and can likely set it up for you too. Wood is provided. Other things to note Great for solo adventurers, a romantic and relaxing getaway or central location for travelers exploring multiple destinations. This is a LGBTQ+ house. All are welcome.
