The Cashiers Cabin

Remotely located 30 minutes from Cashiers, NC and 45 minutes from Highlands, NC. This is the perfect place to relax, disconnect & immerse yourself into nature. From the cabin take a short hike to the national forest, hiking trails, waterfalls, and the Chattooga River. You can park at the cabin and enjoy nature without driving to other locations. Pets are welcome (fee per stay). If your looking for a peaceful , REMOTE get away this is for you. AWD OR 4WD is needed to park near the house. The space Enjoy this one of a kind find with beautiful mountain views. This modern cabin offers a full kitchen, 1 bath inside, an outdoor bathhouse off the 1st floor deck, a California king bed in the private bedroom and a full bed in the lofted TV room. In addition there are 2 sleeper sofas (one queen and one full) available. There is a TV room and reading area in the loft. We have a large selection of DVD's and books here as well. Towels, linens, paper products, coffee pods, coffee filters and fire wood are provided. Wake up to a beautiful mountain view and enjoy the deck, covered porch and fire-pit throughout the day and evening. Entry is on the second floor. Pets are welcomed with a pet fee per stay. Guest access Guest have access to the second and third floor of the 3 story modern cabin. There are two outdoor spaces on the second floor for you to enjoy. One is the covered porch off the kitchen. The other is the entry deck with a beautiful mountain view and perfect place to watch the hummingbirds. You also have access to the deck, outdoor bathhouse and fire-pit on the first floor. Should you want to build a fire or cook on the fire pit, charcoal and wood are provided here as well. The first floor living quarters are a completely separate home and the private residence of the owners. The owners will be traveling during your stay. Other things to note AWD or 4WD NEEDED to park at the top of the driveway. You're surrounded by woods and wildlife. Please do not leave trash or food outside. This will attract wildlife. Pets should be leashed when outside. Mountain weather could cause short power outages. We provide flash lights. We have a 55 inch SMART TV and lots of DVD's (no cable). Starlink is our internet provider. For safety, please do not hike alone.
