Garden City - Cedar Tree View from your Queen size bed w/ Bamboo Sheets, Private Living Room & En-Suite Bath. Located on the 2nd floor. This suite has a view of our Cedar trees in the back yard. Private en-suite bath, separate en-suite private living space with mini fridge & TV. The largest of the 2 rooms available. Beautiful outdoor patio w/ gas grill, fire pit & garden area. We often have long term guests that stay for weeks or several months. Book soon before your room is booked :) We are accepting long term guests! If you are working industries like, NICU nursing, Turbines, Sunflower electric, Construction or just traveling through our area you are welcome to stay in our home away from home. All cleaning & sanitizing protocols set by Airbnb are followed in our home. Come on home! Our lovely home is just the place to unwind after your day. Our living room is a prop your feet up on the table lean back and enjoy a good book while reading or watching the fire. Our home is surrounded by many mature maple, pine & cedar trees making for a lovely evening on the back patio where you will find a fire pit and plenty of wood, a charcoal or gas grill for cooking and cool breezes. Fall is here so there will be plenty of evenings spent out sitting around the fire! Your room upstairs faces the back yard w/ a view of the Cedar trees from your bed (Queen size). There is a separate (en-suite) living area from the bedroom which offers you more space & comfort. The couch is 10 inch memory foam that can convert to twin bed. The bathroom is private to your room only (en-suite) Mini fridge, mini split AC/Heat in sleeping area, ( there is whole house central H/A). You have a large dresser & closet w/ plenty of hanging an shelving space. There is a half bath in the front hall, so you will not ever have to wait to use the lavatory if more than 1 guest staying in the room. KITCHEN: Full access to everything you will need, pots/pans, utensils, oils, spices, coffees, teas, Ninja Blender, rice cooker, & more. (You do need to provide your own groceries) :) The kitchen is everyone’s favorite if you love to cook you will love the gas cooktop, griddle and double ovens. I do have 2 new family members Koda, a well trained/calm, male 100lb Rottweiler who is Kenneled at night and is with me throughout the day. Bitz 10 month old Standard Poodle. Small town, if you are visiting on business you will need your own transportation. Car rental is available at the airport if you are flying in. We look forward to your stay w/ us! It is important that you know I live on site and operate my business from home (separate from general areas). I have 2 very well behaved dogs, they are not jumpers, and seldom bark when In the house. Koda Is a 100lb Rottweiler, & Bitz Is a 10 month old Standard poodle. Please know that I honor your space and time while living here. I am open to visiting , shared meals or If I am going out for dinner I may Invite you to come along. I do not take It personally If you choose not to go. I have never had any Issues with short or long term guests, everyone has been a delight to host! We have shared meals, & many stories by the fire pit on the patio. That said, their are definate house rules that we all need to follow to continue our success as a super host & super guest! This is a very safe neighborhood, and perfect for day or night walks, either around the neighborhood or down to the Talley Trail area. SMOKING POLICY: Smoking Is only allowed outside, back yard patio area, (do not throw butts In yard or fire pit) use ashtray or trash can outside. Any signs of butts in other areas or smoking inside or out a window WILL CANCEL YOUR STAY IMMEDIATELY ! KITCHEN: Long term guests are welcome to use anything’s they would need for cooking; pots, pans, dishes, silverware, spices, oils, coffees, tea & condiments. You must supply your own groceries. There Is room & shelving for your dry goods in the kitchen & in the refrigerator. It is important that after cooking you clean up after; wash, dry & put away any dishes, utensils and pots. Cleaning countertops & cooktop or microwave. This leaves everything in good order for other guests & myself. This also goes for the gas grill outside. VISITOR/EXTRA GUEST POLICY: As a guest, there is a NO visitor policy, this includes, but not limited to, coworkers, date nights, & friends. This is to ensure the safety of other guests & their belongings. I stirive to provided the safest atmosphere in the home. NO VISITORS & NO PARTIES ANY BREACH OF THIS POLICY WILL CANCEL YOUR STAY IMMEDIATELY ! Should you have family coming to visit they must be pre approved In advance, an additional $5 per person per night. ALARM SYSTEMS & video devices: There are 2 alarm systems In this house, guest/shared areas are operated by the key fob attached to your room key. Video Devices are located at the front & back Exterior doors. Second alarm system Is to the private areas of the home. Should you or family member set off this alarm, the police will escort you off the property & this will end/ cancel your stay IMMEDIATELY ! YOUR PRIVATE BEDROOM/BATHROOM: Things provided: toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, hair dryer, bath towels, pillows & bed linens. Extra sheets & towels, Iron & Ironing board In hall closet. Please keep your area free from smelly fast food trash, bring wrappers/bags/boxes down to the trash can In kitchen or outside trash bin, if you are eating in your room. If your trash becomes full please take it to the bin outside the back patio area to large black trash bin. We ask that you use the squeegee in the shower on the walls & glass doors, using the hand towel provided to then wipe off glass doors, faucet & grout lines to keep mold and soap scum from building up during your stay. TOILET/PLUMBING CARE: ONLY TOILET PAPER IS TO BE FLUSHED! Wipes will plug up our system! NO WIPES! there Is a covered trash can, where those may go, right next to the toilet. Extra small trash bags are on the bookshelf In the hallway . If you need there Is a toilet bowel brush & plunger next to the stool. Long term guests will néed & agree to having their room dusted/vacuumed/mopped and bathroom spot cleaned once a month. There Is an additional $30 charge which can be paid through the AirBNB request resolution platform. Arrangements to be paid & agreed upon each month as to day/time. SHARED LAUNDRY: There Is laundry soap & dryer sheets, $3 charge per load (wash/dry Included) there Is a cash jar or you can pay through Airbnb. Bed sheets can be left In laundry room for me to wash, you can grab a fresh set from the hall closet next to your room. NO oily, grease, or fuel covered clothes from work. PLEASE USE LAUNDRYMAT FOR THESE ITEMS! These Items leave a residue In washer & are a fire hazard In the dryer. SHARED COMMON AREAS: When entering the house please remove shoes/boots, black mats are In both entrances for safe keeping. My dogs will not bother them. Kitchen, dining room, living room, half bath, & outside patio & gas grill, are shared. Please Clean up after yourself; Kitchen wash/dry & put away all dishes /pots & pans after cooking. Clean up any spills, splatter on counters, cooktop or microwave. Use cutting boards provided, for any chopping/slicing/meat prep ect. In general, Keep things nice for everyone. We love to get to know our guests, but respect your space if you'd prefer to do your own thing. There is much laughter in our home and many great conversations you are welcome to join in on. If you are joining us for dinner you may be asked to help w/ prep or cleanup. Depending on the menu for the evening an extra fee of $10 (ex: pasta) -$30 (ex: steak/salmon) will be requested. Evening dinners are not guaranteed. Very quiet & safe neighborhood with mature trees, great for walking. We are near walking trail, & close to YMCA. We are located only a: 1/2 mile from the YMCA 1 mile to grocery 2 miles to Hospital Walking trail nearby 5 miles from downtown or zoo 20 minute drive from airport.
