During the restoration of the house, a surprising find caught our attention: elements related to masonry. Upon investigation, we discovered that our house witnessed the rich and complex history of the region. In the past, Alcanar was a meeting place for diverse cultures, and our house was no exception. The third part of the local church, built in a period spanning Roman, Arab, and Masonic influences, reflects the cultural melting pot that defines our history. During the restoration, we found a basement full of mysteries: bones and artifacts that suggest that our house was a place of refuge and secret activity. With a history dating back to the early days of the village, this house has witnessed centuries of transformation and change. Over the centuries, we have discovered that our house was built around 1600, coinciding with the time when the first pipes and drains were made in the area.
