Het Veldthuisje

Wake up in a rural area with wide views of the fields where cows, sheep, goats and horses are grazing. Where you see hares running, pheasants walking and where you are in the heart of Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar, Volendam, Zaanse Schans or on the beach within half an hour by car or public transport. In the neighborhood, there are cozy restaurants on the water within cycling distance. Beautiful hiking and biking trails or rent a canoe and enjoy the beautiful nature. Suitable for ages 12 and up. The space Since the Veldthuisje is located in the countryside, we provide bicycles for free to explore the area. However, we recommend the use of a (rental) car/taxi to get to the station (2.8 km) stores or attractions more comfortably in certain weather conditions. Our accommodation is not suitable for children under 12, so please only book for children 12 years and older. We have 2 lovely box spring beds: downstairs 160x 220 cm (XL) upstairs 180 x 200 cm. And what's more: soft, high-quality towels/bath sheets, toiletries, bathroom mats, and candles create a truly luxurious and cozy atmosphere. Guest access The 't Veldthuisje with private garden and private parking space right next to the accommodation is entirely for guests. Guests will temporarily receive a remote control for the entrance gate. Other things to note Property (including coffee/tea and a complimentary welcome glass of wine/soft drink or bottles of water) equipped with every comfort, such as free use of towels, shampoo, soap, conditioner, bicycles, washing machine, and dryer. Personal reception and key exchange or otherwise via a key with code. Children from the age of 12 are welcome. Breakfast can be ordered. At least one day in advance booking: Small breakfast (freshly baked croissant, butter and jam, fresh orange juice and a boiled egg at €10,- p.p.) or book the luxury breakfast in advance at €20,- p.p. (including freshly baked croissant, bread, butter, jam, cheese/meats, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt cruesli/granola, boiled egg or scrambled eggs) served in 't Veldthuisje. Only on Wednesday through Sunday. It is NOT allowed to leave cars on electric. There are several charging stations nearby (500 m). - To reserve the hot tub/Jacuzzi (€150 per weekend or midweek, including 2 x wood), please book at least 1 day before check-in. You must inform us of this in advance. Swimwear is required. - Since June 2026, air conditioning downstairs.
