The space You’ll have this one bedroom old school bush shack all to yourself, simple cozy and clean, located just 15 minutes drive from the Ferry, with all the basic comforts and authentic nature experiences on your doorstep. Watch for Wedgetail, Sea Eagles and black cockatoos flying almost close enough to touch, rug up by the fire or take a five minute walk to local secluded beaches. With one Queen bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living space, the house would suit a couple looking to explore this unique and beautiful island. Local highlights include hiking pristine white sand beaches, observing migratory seabirds and fairy penguins returning to their burrows at dusk (Nov-March), locally produced cheese, oysters, whisky & honey and world-class boat tours into the southern ocean, all waiting for the adventurous traveller. Guest access The Driveway access to the property is steep (you don’t get mind blowing views without a price), so take it slow and careful on the drive down. Sunset on Blyth is situated 50m to the left of our small dwelling where we reside most of the week, with a shared driveway and turning circle. If you see us pottering around, watering the garden, tinkering with a lawn mower or heading off to work, feel free to say hello - we’re always happy to have a chat Other things to note Come and experience the crisp clean air, beautiful vistas and golden evening light of spring in Tasmania.
