Other things to note Fresh inside and out, this completely renovated home is stocked with fluffy towels and cozy bedding, pingpong table, indoor and outdoor games, gas barbecue, and a well appointed kitchen full of high quality updated appliances and all the equipment needed to prepare your meals, including a coffeemaker, coffee grinder, milk frother, blender, toaster, waffle iron, griddle and crockpot. The short walk to the beach and territorial and water views are all part of the experience here. The summer months are spectacular on Orcas, with long sunny days, swimming in Cascade and Mountain Lakes, beachcombing at low tide, hiking and enjoying local cuisine and fresh food from the farmers' market. There are perks to coming in the winter, from trails with seasonal streams and waterfalls to enjoy while you hike, expanded trail ccess for mountain biking, uncrowded restaurants and shops, and stormy days at the beach. The fall ushers in some of the best weather of the year with crystal clear days and cooler evenings. Fruit trees are covered with fruit and local produce abounds in restaurants and at the farmers' market. Winter brings the charm of the holidays in Eastsound and around the island, and shorter days meant for watching stormy weather and curling up with a good book. In spring the island becomes brilliant green, fruit trees are covered with blossoms, and days begin to lengthen. Experience the off season for lower rates and fewer crowds. The climate is generally milder in the San Juans and often drier and sunnier than in the Seattle area. Enjoy spectacular summer sunsets and island and mountain views from the dock and beach, and gorgeous territorial views from the private garden.
