Perfect base for adventurers and relaxers The space Just a quick note to let you know that our guest suite is located on the main level of our house—there’s no basement—while our family lives on the 2nd floor. It’s just my wife and me, our two teenagers. You’ll enjoy complete privacy with your own entrance by the side of our house. For your safety and to help us maintain a peaceful environment, we have an outdoor security camera that monitors the path leading to your door. There is lots of free parking on the street, bike paths and pedestrian paths make exploring North Vancouver easy and fun. Multiple public transit stations are a few minutes walk away. Guest access You’ll have exclusive access to a charming patio in our lush garden, located by our magnificent giant Oak Tree. This spot offers a perfect retreat with shade during the hottest part of the day. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a drink at sunset or savor a morning coffee while catching the sunrise. Feel free to relax and make the most of this serene outdoor space during your stay! When in season fresh herbs from the garden are available to enhance your dishes - oregano, thyme, chives, lemon balm, etc. An EV charger is available upon request, subject to availability, as it is shared with us. The suite is fully equipped - just bring your suitcase! For longer stays, you will be fully supplied for all household, consumable and hygiene products for at least the first week. Other things to note This is suite is registered for short term rentals in compliance with North Vancouver and BC, so no worries about our listing being removed. You can reserve with assurance that this place meets all of the health, safety and regulations required. RST-36392 Our house and suite have been recently renovated with polyurethane insulation, which helps make them quite soundproof for music and conversations. However, you might occasionally hear some noise from footsteps during the day, though we do our best to keep it minimal. We’re usually in bed by 10 PM, and our teenagers are either in school during the day or sleeping in until around 11 AM on non-school days. Given this, our rental isn’t ideal for parties or loud gatherings. We strive to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone and appreciate your understanding and respect for our home and neighborhood. If you would like cleaning services during your stay, we will do our best to arrange for you. Please note each cleaning costs $85. Please feel free to make use of the cleaning supplies provided. We collect garbage and recycling on Wednesday evenings between 5:00-8:00pm, feel free to request other days as needed. An early checkin or late checkin might be available - but do ask us in advance. Last minute requests may not be available. Please ensure you are checked out by 11:00am on your day of departure and leave us a message once you have left so we can confirm with the cleaning crew. Guests that do not honour the 11:00 departure without a prior agreement will be charged per additional $100 per hour after 11:00am for keeping the cleaners on standby.
