The black-sand beach is peaceful and rarely crowded. You’ll find small convenience stores, a bakery, ATM/bank, and restaurants within walking distance. Barrouallie is known for its fishing culture and history — don’t miss a chance to try the local black fish or chat with fishermen along the shore. It’s also a great base for exploring the Leeward side of St. Vincent, with activities that include visiting nearby waterfalls, other volcanic black-sand beaches, scenic hikes, coastal boat tours, and visiting the set of The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, much of which was filmed in the area. 📌 House Rules * Check-in: After 3:00 PM * Check-out: By 11:00 AM * Quiet Hours begin at 11:00 PM * No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottage and on the porch. You may smoke on the deck, but please dispose of cigarette butts and ashes responsibly. * Please turn off A/C, fans, TV, and lights when not in use or when leaving the cottage. * No Parties or Events: This space is meant for rest, relaxation, and respectful gatherings only. * Maximum Occupancy: 4 guests * Only the number of guests listed on the reservation are allowed to stay overnight. * Please refrain from eating in the bedrooms. * Please rinse off sand before entering the house. Use the outdoor shower provided. * Children are welcome, but supervision is required — especially around the beach and deck areas. * No pets allowed. * Safety First: Lock doors and secure valuables when away. Use caution at the beach, especially at night. * Please report any damage or maintenance issues promptly so we can keep the space in great condition for everyone. Guest access Guests have full, private keyless access to the cottage. You’ll also have backyard access to the nearby beach — just steps down the path. Free parking is available at the rear of the cottage, as well as on the street in front of the property. Other things to note * Wi-Fi is suitable for basic work, streaming, or calls, but may not support large downloads or constant video conferencing. Average download speed is 250mps; upload speed is 125mps. Service provider is Digicel. With the exception of occasional country wide issues with service providers, the Wi-Fi is reliable and strong. * This is a friendly fishing town — nonetheless, be mindful of local customs and community members. * We recommend renting a car if you plan to explore more remote parts of the island on your own. * We’re happy to help arrange local transportation or tours if you’re interested in exploring more of the island with a guide.
