We have furnished a small studio with care and love. It is well thought out and well equipped, very comfortable and perfect for a couple, two friends or a single person. You will be in the village, on the banks of the Vispa River, in a quiet and well-maintained building, an 8-minute walk from the train station (or 2 minutes by taxi). You can arrive whenever you want thanks to our lockbox. Toilet separate from the studio (low ceiling). The ski room and garden will also be available to you. The space The studio is on the top floor of the house: there is only one neighbor on this floor and he is very often absent. The studio has 1 or 2 single beds (80 cm x 200 cm or 160 cm x 200 cm), a small kitchen, a shower, a table with two chairs, a wardrobe, a coffee table, a TV, games and books. The toilet and sink are available on the same floor (low ceiling), which is shared with a neighbor's studio, but he almost never uses them because he already has a private toilet in his apartment. Two bathrobes and slippers are available to go to the toilet at the end of the small hallway (5 meters from the studio). The ski room and garden will also be available to guests. The house is extremely well located: it is a 5-minute walk from the village center, the train station, the Gornergrat train departure station and the Sunnegga/Blauherd/Rothorn metro station, as well as a 2-minute walk from the Schwarzsee/Klein Matterhorn bus stop. A ski rental shop is a 1-minute walk away. If you arrive before check-in time, you can drop your bags in the lockers at the station (for a fee) or hidden under the stairs of our building. We hope you feel comfortable in our home. We have been going to this studio for over 75 years, generation after generation, and we enjoy it in both winter and summer! You also have access to the ski cellar at the entrance, as well as the garden with trampoline in summer. The elevator goes up to the 4th floor, then you'll have to walk up one floor to the 5th floor. Other things to note Housekeeping fees include cleaning, bedding, bath towels and hand towels. For your information, one hour of cleaning costs CHF 30.- in Zermatt and bedding costs CHF 30.- as well. Regarding tourist taxes, they are CHF 4.- per person per night. They are included in the price. They are directly remitted to the Zermatt Administration.
