"La Grubla", a retreat between the woods and the river

Immerse yourself in nature to enjoy peace and quiet. La Grubla is a newly-built double bedroom with a bathroom. Independent both for the entrance and for the use of the spaces. Located inside a large house where a family lives, it is in a very quiet place 250 meters from the main road; 800 meters from the center of Mergozzo and the lake; 700 meters from the village of Bracchio. It's a good idea to have a car. Total area 12 square meters, excluding the small terrace. Located inside a large and quiet house, it overlooks a private covered terrace where there are chairs and a table for exclusive use. Possibility to use an electric barbecue. In the room, you will find a small refrigerator, the "Nespresso" coffee machine with pods, a kettle, and the American coffee maker. Guest access You arrive by car and can park in a large square outside the room. There is free private parking. To access the room, you have to climb a few comfortable stone steps. Other things to note The accommodation tax of €1 per person per night must be paid in cash upon arrival. Important: Within 24 hours of arrival, hand over your documents in person to Michela for registration The house is home to a pottery workshop, which you can visit, where Michela creates out of passion, drawing inspiration from nature. You can also try an experience with clay. Bracchio is a village on the outskirts of Valgrande, the largest wilderness area in Europe, and a few hundred meters from the small lake where you can swim in calm and very clean waters; motorboats are prohibited and you can enjoy water sports (canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing). Some trekking routes start from Bracchio (Alpe Vercio, Monte Faiè, the Azzurro trail). We are in a great, very quiet location, from where you can reach Lake Maggiore-Verbania, Lake Orta, and Stresa with the Borromean Islands by car in about 15 minutes.
