This home is quite simply exquisite, with its magical, fairytale like feel where richness in texture, colour & creative design is truly one-of-a-kind. Nestled at the end of a long drive, this extraordinary and enchanting home is set in a private, elevated position and enjoys far-reaching views and only a short walk to the edge of Dartmoor for endless exploration. It’s all been imaginatively and beautifully designed specifically for large gatherings, entertaining, joy, laughter and lots of fun! The space The keypad will bring you straight into the vast boot room before entering the grand reception area. Welcomed by the large party table, decorated with colourful lights, sun catchers and a medley of interest, this is the perfect space to wine and dine and celebrate any occasion! The sitting room is an intimate, comfortable and cosy space and adjoining is a glazed dining area with access to the garden. Moving deeper into the house, you stumble into the exquisite bar area with sumptuous chairs and relaxing day bed (also perfect for the evenings!) complete with piano. To the side of the bar is the snooker room with red velvet walls! The open plan kitchen features spectacular double height bay windows and the breakfast table positioned to make the most of the far reaching Dartmoor views. There is a large open pantry, comfortable snug area with television and a fabulous island in the centre of the space. On the ground floor, you will also find a hidden games room with large sofas and beautiful ornate doors that open onto the outside seating area. (There is a large screen if you wish to bring a games console). Complimenting the playful theme of the house is the beautiful curved slope which connects the ground and first floors. A waterfall of hand made Moroccan tiles - exquisitely crafted - and rather fun! On the first floor, you will find an array of gorgeous bedrooms (two with ensuite), a family bathroom and a WC. 6 bedrooms: 1. Caesar bed (larger than a superking!) 2. Super King 3. Super King 4. Double 5. Prince* and a single bed 6. Two Prince* beds and two single beds (up high) * a prince fits one adult, it is smaller than a double. To the end of the first floor is the incredible mezzanine, a great creative space for working (if necessary!) and playing. Beyond this is the very special ‘nest’ - a viewing gallery and reading nook - this enchanting space at the highest point of the house is simply breathtaking with a feeling of light, peace and tranquility and…unparalleled views! Perfect for your morning coffee! The gardens wrap the property and to finish is a spectacular outdoor living area - another fabulous entertaining space. Situated in woodland with direct access to the the moors, this truly is the perfect party destination! We look forward to hosting you! * We welcome pets. Please bring your charging cable. * Please note that this is a family home so we kindly ask that you are respectful of this. We only accept bookings from guests with a history of five star reviews, as this gives us the reassurance you will be considerate when enjoying your stay at the property. *It goes without saying, breakages must be paid for. *The bunk beds are high up and accessed by a ladder - more suitable for older children. *The vast majority of personal items have been removed although picture frames have not. *All fires and candles are for decorative purposes only. *Please note there is a security camera monitoring the front door to the property. This does not record lengthy footage, just sends an alert to the owner with an image. Guest access Drive past the property and turn right up the gravel slope which will bring you into the main parking area with space for several cars. The house and gardens are all yours. Other things to note We welcome pets but please note that the garden is fenced and hedged to the rear and sides but there is no gate beyond the parking area. The house is situated at the end of a quiet lane with woodland so very safe but worth mentioning. Please include your pet(s) onto the booking as there is a small fee per pet. Thank you.
