🗸 Fernão's Room is part of a guest house located in Arroios, Lisbon. Before confirming your reservation, make sure you have read and understood all the information in the listing. The space 🗸 The apartment is located on the 4th FLOOR of an old building that does not have elevators, making it unsuitable for guests with reduced mobility. 🗸 Even though it has been remodeled, the apartment is old (including doors and windows) and is subject to various noises. 🗸 Capacity to accommodate up to 6 people in total (2 double and 2 single rooms). 🗸 2 shared bathrooms. 🗸 All guests have a private room with a lock and key. 🗸 Double room rates vary according to the number of guests (1 or 2). 🗸 The area is quite safe in general, even at night. 🗸 For privacy reasons, we do not provide the full address prior to booking. You can use the Portugália restaurant in Arroios as a reference. 🗸 For more information about the neighborhood, see the “Where you'll be” section below. Guest access 🗸 Our check-in time starts at 3:00 p.m. For this reason, if you want to check in independently in the morning, we suggest that you book the night before your arrival. 🗸 The check-out time is 10 am. There is no need to wait for our arrival, just lock the bedroom door and leave the keys in the lock. 🗸 If we are unable to receive you in person, a self-check-in will be provided (with instructions and access codes). 🗸 The guest must correctly follow the instructions sent to perform the self check-in. If you plan to arrive late at night, be sure to read and understand the instructions that will be sent in advance. Other things to note 🗹 HOUSE RULES 🗸 The apartment has common areas. When booking, guests agree to keep them clean and tidy. 🗸 Upon arrival, during the stay and eventually when leaving, it is important to pay attention to the quiet hours. Excessive noise is not tolerated from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. the next day, according to Portuguese law. 🗸 Visitors and pets are not allowed, as well as any kind of meeting, party or event. The space is also not suitable for babies and children, so we do not accept this type of reservation. 🗸 All rooms are non-smoking. 🗸 Utensils for common use must be kept available for other guests after use and proper cleaning. We also ask that guests do not leave personal items in common areas. 🗸 According to Portuguese law, we must request and file information regarding the people staying on our premises. For this reason, identification documents will be required from all guests who will be on-site during the stay. 🗸 Any damage to the property must be reported to the host. 🗹 LUGGAGE 🗸 For operational reasons, we are unfortunately unable to store luggage. But you can find some convenient and inexpensive options at the main train and metro stations (such as Rossio, Baixa-Chiado, etc.), as well as at Lisbon Airport. 🗹 AMENITIES 🗸 It is not possible to provide heaters/air conditioning, but we have extra blankets for colder days. 🗸 We do not have washing machines for guests to use, but it is possible to find self-service laundry services in the vicinity of the building. The nearest ones are on Rua Cavaleiro de Oliveira. 🗸 See all amenities provided in the “What this space offers” section below. 🗸 With some luck, it is possible to get a parking space right in front of the building. With the exception of weekends, there are no free parking spaces around the building, only paid parking lots and in great demand by residents. 🗸 It is important to pay attention to the payment of parking during working days (from 9 am to 7 pm), because as they are public spaces, the vehicle will be subject to blocking or even towing in case of non-payment (about €1.20/hour). 🗸 If you arrive by car but do not intend to use it, we recommend the (paid) parking lot at Praça do Chile. 🗹 NEARBY ATTRACTIONS 🗸 We are approximately 2.3 km from downtown Lisbon.
