Escape to our serene mid-century modern cabin 5 mi to the Nisqually entrance of Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park. Nestled in lush nature on almost 1 acre of land, this private retreat features a covered hot tub & fire pit for ultimate relaxation! Perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring trails, waterfalls, or the park’s majestic beauty! Enjoy stylish decor, modern amenities, & peaceful surroundings, making this the perfect gathering place for family & friends seeking adventure or a tranquil getaway! The space The spacious living room has a loveseat, two chairs and a 50" Roku TV and a wall mounted Bluetooth speaker. Streaming services are available with guest's own accounts. There is a bedroom on the main floor with a Queen size bed, closet, and door to the front patio. The upstairs bedroom has a queen size futon and two single floor beds. There is a small bean bag sitting area with TV and DVDs. The bathroom has a glass block shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, however the glass shower does have windows that open. The kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, oven, stove, and microwave. Please note there is no dishwasher. We have pots, pans and utensils, a fully stocked kitchen. Salt pepper, oil, vinegar, and some spices are provided. There is a coffee maker, a French press and a coffee grinder available for guest use. Ground coffee, regular and decaf, and filters are provided along with creamer and sugar/sugar substitutes. There is also a hot water kettle with an assortment of tea provided. Full size washer/dryer in kitchen available for guest use. Covered 5-person hot tub located on the private deck in backyard! There is a full-size BBQ Grill with outdoor cooking utensils and places for outdoor dining. The outdoor firepit area includes Adirondack chairs and tables. Solar lights line the outdoor area. Cornhole game and other yard games are stored in the covered deck box off the back deck. We are dog friendly. Maximum 1 dog allowed - under 50lbs. Please include a pet in your reservation so the fee will automatically be charged. Please see house rules for additional details. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin. The driveway can accommodate 3 vehicles. Check-in instructions, address, Wi-Fi password and Wi-Fi smart lock code (to enter the front door) will be sent prior to guest's arrival. Check out instructions will be sent prior to guest departure. Other things to note 🐶 We are dog friendly! Maximum 1 dog allowed. Dog must be under 50 lbs. Please include a pet in your reservation so the fee will automatically be charged. Please see house rules for more details. Periodic power and internet outages do occur in this area. Rest assured as we have a backup GENERATOR that will automatically turn on in the event of a power outage. We have a flashlight and lanterns available. We do not provide refunds for outages that are outside of our control. Cell phone service is spotty although Verizon seems to work well. Please enable Wi-Fi calling to achieve the best calling option. There is a telephone with a land line available for guest use in the event of an emergency. Ashford is home to many expedition outfitters. It also has a few restaurants, an art gallery, a gas station and a small general store. We recommend purchasing supplies prior to your arrival, as the nearest grocery store has only the basic supplies, beer and wine. Firewood can be purchased in Ashford at the General Store or the firewood vending machine outside of Jacob’s Barber. There are also places on the side of the highway to purchase wood bundles. PLEASE NOTE: it is the guest’s responsibility to check if fires are allowed during their stay.
