Mini-house on the shore of Lake Saimaa

You will always remember the rugged landscape of this destination. The property is located near Kolovesi National Park on the shores of Saimaa Pyyvesi. The property has stunning views, but it is only about 300 meters from the paved country road. There are neighbors on the property. The mini-house was completed in 2025 and the sauna in the adjacent building dates back to 2024. The accommodation is ideal for those interested in hiking, cycling, fishing and paddling. The space The mini-house actually has one space where almost everything happens. It has a living room, bedroom and kitchen in the same space. Small hallway and toilet/shower behind the connecting door. Sleeping is easiest in a high-quality double bed that is waiting for you with the bedding already made. However, if you don't want to sleep next to each other, it is possible for one person to sleep on the sofa bed. It has also received good user feedback from guests. The basic kitchen equipment allows you to cook. There is a 2-burner induction hob, air fryer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and electric whisk. Outside, there's a yard grill and a smoker. Dining takes place at a small cabin table while watching the scenery. The house is equipped with board games and literature. The property has a so-called shredding toilet, which saves nature compared to a regular toilet. Washing takes place in a wood-heated yard sauna or in a shower cabinet connected to the toilet area. The yard sauna was completed in 2024 and is electrified. There is a parking area in the yard of the house. Guest access We strive to welcome guests in person. If this is not possible, the guest will be sent written instructions and a link to a YouTube video with a video of the property. In this case, they will also receive a key code to enable check-in. Other things to note The host lives in a building on the plot next to the property. From the side of the house there is a road to the neighboring cottage, although there is little traffic. The beach sauna is shared flexibly with the residents of the neighboring cottage.
