Lake idyll at Lake Mälaren – Two houses, sauna & kayaks!

Welcome to our lake property in Stäudd, where modern life meets classic Swedish summer idyll. Here you rent the entire property for yourselves and have access to two well-equipped houses, a smooth, electrically heated sauna and your own small fleet of kayaks – all with Lake Mälaren's sparkling water as your closest neighbour. ​This is the perfect accommodation for the large family or group that wants to combine activity and total relaxation with high comfort. The space Wonderful beachfront cabins in Stäudd outside Köping, a summer idyll. Main house (70 sqm): The heart of the accommodation with a spacious living room and open-plan kitchen. There is a cosy fireplace and large windows that frame the lake view. The big highlight is the glazed balcony on the lake side – perfect for long dinners regardless of the weather. Bathroom with shower, wc and washing machine. Sauna with lounge. Small desk in the living room that can be used for remote work. ​Guest house (The modern house): There are additional sleeping places and social areas, which provide a private sphere for parts of the company. Open floor plan with kitchen and a fantastic glazed terrace overlooking Lake Mälaren, perfect for beautiful sunrises. Bathroom with toilet and shower. Living room, balcony and two bedrooms. ​The plot and surroundings: The large garden plot of over 1,000 sqm invites you to play and relax. There is plenty of space for the children to run around and several patios for morning coffee or a barbecue evening. ​Swimming: Just a stone's throw down to the water for a morning dip or a trip with our kayaks, which are included to borrow. There are two one-man kayaks and a two-man kayak. ​Amenities: Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine (in the main house) with air heat pumps for a comfortable temperature all year round. Sauna. ​The location: A quiet area outside Köping. Here you are close to nature, but with a convenient distance to Köping for shopping and services. 12 km (20 min) to Köping with restaurants and grocery stores. Inside both cottages: The property is connected to fiber. You have free Wifi and access to TV. The cabins also have air conditioning (air heat pump minimum 16 degrees). Both kitchens have a microwave & dishwasher. The dining area in one house sleeps about 10 people and is located right next to the kitchen. All normal equipment is in the kitchen. There are a total of four bedrooms, (two in each cottage). One bedroom with wardrobes and double bed (2x90 cm) bed. The second bedroom has two single beds (80 cm), window (with curtains) facing Lake Mälaren with a shelf. The third bedroom has a double bed (2x90 cm), wardrobes and windows (with curtains) facing the garden. The fourth bedroom is on the second floor with two single beds. There are two sofa beds, one in each cabin. There is an extra mattress in the sleeping loft that can be used if needed. Bathroom 1 one shower, washbasin, WC. Bathroom 2 a shower, sink, WC, washing machine. Outside the house: On the deck you have access to outdoor furniture and a grill. If the weather is against you, you can still eat outside in the part of the terrace that is glazed (the porch). The stone tiles in front of the house will take you down to the jetty and beach, where the morning bath can preferably be taken! You can fish from the jetty. For you traveling with children, we have some outdoor toys. Kubb game. There is a swing set by the jetty to swing on. Outside the house you will have space to park three cars. Wood is brought by yourself to burn in the fireplace. Free access to our two one-person kayaks and a two-person kayak – the ultimate way to explore Lake Mälaren's beautiful archipelago.
