Our Swiss Tiny Home is located at an altitude of 1,520 meters in a small camping village on the Jaun Pass in the Bernese Highlands. As a family-friendly sports region, the pass invites you to ski and snowboard. But even as a cross-country skier, hiker or snowshoer, you are in good hands in our region. In summer, you can start entertaining hikes directly from the apartment or use the Gastlosen (Saanenland Dolomites) for climbing. The space Our apartment is a cozy, fully equipped accommodation for couples, families or groups of up to six people. Take a soothing break from everyday life and enjoy the beauty of the mountains and nature. We completely renovated our accommodation for you in 2022 – for more comfort and a special feeling of well-being. We don't have a toilet in the chalet yet, but the bathrooms (which are always heated and impeccably clean) are only 60 seconds away and are open 24 hours. Six sleeping places in two rooms In addition to a bunk bed (1.70 m long) for two smaller people in a separate room, our chalet offers four additional sleeping places in the living room as needed. The kitchen is located in an extra room. In total, the chalet has a total area of 35 m². High-quality amenities For heating, there is a regulating pellet stove. High-quality cookware is available for self-catering. Other extras such as double-glazed windows, parquet floors, cotton bed linen, sharp knives and much more provide additional comfort. Flawless sanitary facilities Just a minute's walk away are the impeccably maintained, warm sanitary facilities for fetching/disposing of water, washing dishes, showers and for using the toilet. Laundry facilities Indispensable for a longer stay or vacation with children, the campsite also offers the possibility to wash your laundry directly on site. TV If you need the couch, you have a modern 48-inch TV with UHD/Blu-Ray/DVD player on site. Grocery store Directly at the campsite there is a small shop with all the important food for daily supply. Pellet stove Enjoy the natural warmth of our pellet stove, which ensures a cozy well-being on colder days. Restrictions Our apartment is completely smoke-free. Our property is located in a converted mobile home on the Jaunpass campground, surrounded by other mobile homes and without direct connection to fresh or hot water. It has a water canister, which can be filled and then the tap works by means of a pump. The impeccably maintained sanitary facilities of the site are only a minute away by foot and can be used at any time. In the canisters available there, you can get fresh water and dispose of it as wastewater. Other things to note Where is the best place to park? There are two large parking lots. A small parking lot (only usable in summer) is further up, directly at the campsite office. How exactly do I get to the property? After successful booking, you will receive detailed information via chat. From the large parking lot, you should plan about five minutes on foot. A little longer in winter. What are the road conditions like in the winter months? The road to the pass and the large parking lots is well cleared at all times. The small road (Bruchberg) to the campsite can usually only be driven on with a four-wheel drive. From the large parking lot it is about 7 walk to the chalet in winter. How far is it from the chalet to the ski lift in winter? With equipment, you are only 3 minutes on foot. Can the chalet be booked for just one night? No, the minimum stay is two nights. Where can I find more information about the process? After a successful booking, you will receive more detailed information about the stay. Otherwise, feel free to contact us in advance. No, but the sanitary facilities (which are always heated and impeccably clean) are only 60 seconds away and are open 24 hours. Fresh water can also be collected there and the used water disposed of. Handy canisters are of course available. However, we are planning a toilet in the chalet – just stay in touch with us and don't let that deter you! What is the distribution of the beds? A bunk bed with two beds is located in a separate room. These two beds are 170cm in length. Four more sleeping options are located in the large room. There is a bunk bed with two beds and a comfortable, fold-out sofa bed for two people. All beds are equipped with high-quality mattresses. Is the price per night or per person? The price is per night for a maximum of 6 people plus a one-time final cleaning of CHF 80. Is there shopping nearby? Yes, there is the Campinglädeli, which is small but well equipped (with many regional products). There are also snacks to buy. On the other hand, there is a small café in the large parking lot, where many regional products are also sold. For larger purchases, we recommend the stores of the LANDI (Simmental), Volg (Boltigen) or Coop (Val-de-Charmey) chain.
