There are many, from Michelin-starred restaurants to cheap izakayas. ◾️Kagurazaka is located in the center of the Tokyo area. ◾️It takes about 10 minutes by train to both Shinjuku Sta.and Tokyo Sta. *Etoile is a small and cute room that the host DIYed in one room of a vintage apartment. The space ◾️Area: Approximately 18 square meters ◾️Number of beds Single (100cm x 197cm) x 1 Semi-double (120cm x 197cm) x 1 *Two beds side by side ◾️Number of guests: Maximum 3 (An additional fee is required for stays with three guests.) There are no extra beds. It is small for 3 adults to sleep in. ◾️Dining Cafe table and sofa installed ◾️Remote work Can be done at the cafe table. ◾️Kitchen IH cooker, pots and pans, cups, cutlery ◾️Bathroom, toilet Very small unit bath. There is a bathtub, but it is not suitable for soaking in hot water. Shampoo, rinse, body soap, and towels are provided. If you don't like small baths, please use the public bath 2 minutes walk away. ◾️Washing machine There is a washing machine outdoors. There is no drying function. There is a clothesline in the room. Several doses of detergent are provided. There is also a coin laundry facility at the public bathhouse, which is a 2-minute walk away. ◾️Luggage storage You can store your suitcase in the bottom level of the deep closet. ◾️Other - For safety reasons, the windows are locked. - As this is a room on the first floor, please be careful when opening and closing the door as insects may get in. Other things to note ◼Access There are four nearby stations. 7-minute walk from JR Iidabashi and Tokyo Metro Iidabashi. Iidabashi Station has five lines, including the subway. 6-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Kagurazaka Station. ◾️About Kagurazaka As the name suggests, Kagurazaka is a town on a hill. You'll get out of breath if you climb it all at once. Please take your time and climb while looking at and visiting the shops around. If you're not confident about climbing the hill with a suitcase, we recommend taking a taxi from the next station to Zenkokuji Temple at the top of the hill. (It is too close to the nearest station, Iidabashi Station, to take a taxi.) ◼Nearby Facilities The main street of Kagurazaka is a shopping street on both sides of the hill. We have a cafe table and sofa where you can work and eat. ◼Free, unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi Remote work is also safe. ◾️About TV A 40-inch TV is installed and you can log in with your own Google account to use it. ※Terrestrial TV channels are not available. ◾️Room Keys Enter the key number on the keypad to unlock the door. It is not an auto-lock, so you will need to lock it yourself. ◾️Luggage Storage You can store your suitcase in the lower level of the deep closet. ■Cleaning In general, sheets and towels will not be changed during your stay, but simple cleaning is available for a fee. Please contact us separately. (Please use the in-room washing machine or nearby coin laundry as needed.) ■Condiments Due to infection prevention measures, no condiments are provided. ■Kitchen Cleaning Leaving leftover food or drinks will lead to insects. Please wash the dishes and kitchen area after each use. ■Garbage Separation Please cooperate in separating garbage according to Tokyo's rules. Separation method: Please throw garbage in the garbage bin in your room. ・Burnable garbage (paper waste, cloth, plastic bags, plastic, food waste (drain water, tie the bag and throw it in the trash can) ・Plastic bottles ・Cans, bottles ・Other items such as cardboard and magazines should be left together. *For stays longer than one week, please consult with us about the timing of garbage collection. ■Consumables We have a sufficient amount of consumables such as toilet paper. If you run out, please purchase more at a nearby convenience store or drugstore. Also, please do not take home consumables or equipment (home appliances, towels, etc.). If you take them home, you will be charged the actual price. Please do not touch staff equipment. ■Bath towels and face towels are provided. Please bring your own nightwear. ◾️About windows Etoile is located on the first floor of the building, so the windows are locked and cannot be opened to ensure the safety of guests. Also, since it is on the first floor, there may be a risk of fire when opening and closing the door. Small insects may get in, so please open and close the door quickly and do not leave it open. ◾️About Noise Etoile is located in a relatively quiet residential area. To avoid disturbing the neighbors, please keep noise to a minimum between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM. (We also recommend checking in during appropriate hours for the same reason.) At the same time, please note that you may occasionally hear cheerful voices from nearby restaurants. You might also hear birds, children, and tourists. Since Etoile is part of an apartment complex, you may also hear sounds from neighboring units. If you are particularly sensitive to noise, Etoile may not be the best choice for you. Parties and events are not permitted, as they can cause disturbances to the neighbors. ◾️About submitting personal information Etoile provides accommodation in accordance with Japanese laws. In Japan, the law regulating private lodging businesses requires guests staying at private lodgings to submit the following information. -Names, addresses, and contact phone numbers of all guests Your passport number, occupation, nationality, passport number, copy of the photo page of your passport Please note that if you do not submit this information by the deadline, your reservation may be canceled and not accepted. ◾️ Number of guests We recommend two people to stay in order to ensure a comfortable stay even in a small space. Please note that even if three adults stay, it will be cramped, so please make a reservation with this in mind. - Single bed (100cm x 197cm): 1 unit - Semi-double (120 x 197): 1 unit The two beds are placed together. - The room size is 18 m2 ◾️ Security cameras The cameras are installed outside the house. The cameras are used to confirm the identity and number of guests. Only guests staying at the hotel are allowed to enter the guest rooms. If anyone other than those registered in advance enters the accommodation, a penalty of 100,000 yen will be charged and the reservation will be canceled. Guests will be asked to leave the room immediately. In this case, there will be no refunds. ◾️About smoking Etoile is a non-smoking establishment, both indoors and outdoors. Please strictly adhere to this rule to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. If a guest smokes in the room, the guest will be required to pay an additional cleaning and deodorization fee (50,000 yen). In addition, a non-operation charge (20,000 yen per day) will be incurred depending on the condition of the room. (※If there are no cigarette butts left in the room but the room smells of cigarettes, the above measures will be taken.) Smoking is also prohibited on the building premises and on the surrounding streets. Please use smoking areas or stores where smoking is permitted. If smoking or littering cigarette butts is observed on the premises, a penalty of ¥50,000 will be charged to cover special cleaning costs and compensation to neighbors. In addition, if any equipment is damaged or lost, you will be responsible for the actual cost. Depending on the situation, the fee may be reduced, so please contact the host immediately if you have any problems. ■When checking out, please follow the house rules and throw away trash in the trash can and return items to the designated place. Also, please turn off electrical appliances such as air conditioners and the lights in the room. Please be sure to lock your room before leaving. ■If you lose or damage any items in the facility, you will be charged a repair fee. Example: Lost key – 30,000 yen Damage to facility – depending on the extent of damage ■About left behind items Please take away any large items you no longer need. For large items left behind, such as suitcases that are over 30 cm in size, you will be charged 10,000 yen per item for disposal. ■We cannot store your luggage before check-in or after check-out. Please use the coin lockers at the station. ◾️About service dogs, guide dogs, emotional support animals, etc. Etoile is not designed to accommodate service dogs, guide dogs, emotional support animals, etc. Therefore, if you wish to stay with your pet, you will need to mutually confirm what preparations are necessary before your reservation is confirmed. Please note that you cannot stay without reporting. ◾️ Early Check-in Please contact us in advance if you wish to request this. •After 2:00 PM: Available after coordination with the cleaning company, with a special handling fee of ¥2,000. •Before 2:00 PM: Available after coordination with the cleaning company, with a special handling fee of ¥5,000. ※Please note that in some cases, we may not be able to accommodate the request if adjustments cannot be made. ◾️Late check-out ※If you wish to do so, please contact us in advance. If you do not contact us and the check-out time has passed, the cleaning company will charge you a waiting fee of 2,000 yen for 30 minutes. ・If it is until 12 o'clock, we can accommodate you for a special fee of 2,000 yen after coordination with the cleaning company. ◾️ Regarding Furniture Movement Please do not move any furniture. If the furniture has been moved at the time of check-out, a special restoration fee of 10,000 yen will be charged to return it to its original position. ■ Long-Term Reservation For stays longer than 28 days, we kindly ask you to switch your reservation to our long-term listing after booking and to sign a rental agreement for long-term stays. Details will be provided after the reservation is made. ◾️About the Surroundings During your stay, you may hear construction noise, sounds from neighbors, or notice temporary smells. These are outside our control, so we cannot offer refunds or discounts for such reasons. Please understand this before you book. ◾️Other Notes If you notice any smells or dirt inside the room, please let us know while you are still here so we can check together.
