Some games, toys, writing stuff & books. Laundry room, spacious living/dining/kitchen area There are two bedrooms and a walk in closet with 4 beds & 2 mattresses. Total: 1 queen bed 1 sofa bed twin: 2 xl beds / 2 mattress on floor *Home is located on a busy road.* The space This is a single story ranch style home. While our B&B is located on a busy road (which makes arrival easy!), most guests prefer to spend their time in the peaceful, private backyard—perfect for relaxing, playing, or enjoying Alaska’s fresh air. We are near Merrill field Airport (small planes). For accessibility: there is one small step up to the entry and inside one step down to the laundry room. A large private backyard is fully fenced. In June the apple trees bloom, and in August/September apples start falling from the trees. The apples are ripe and taste great end of August. You can eat however much you want -during your stay- and take a couple with you. The home was extensively remodeled in 2017. Inside there’s a spacious open kitchen, living room dining area with breakfast bar seating for up to 4, and dining with seating for four. There are some games, toys, lots of extra bedding and pillows, towels, things you might have forgotten in your travels, and other essentials. An oversized laundry room with provided detergent and laundry bags. Lots of extra kitchen gadgets to play around with. There are two TVs in the property. They have streaming services provided: STARZ, HBO Max, DisneyPlus, and AppleTV. The living room has a 65 inch TV and one bedroom has a 55 inch TV. The bathroom has a large soaking tub. There are a variety of soaps, shampoos, conditioners, baby products, bath mitts and some toys for children, handmade crocheted back scrubbers in adult, teen, and children sizes. There is an on-demand water heater so you don’t have to worry about running out of hot water during everyone’s long hot showers. The outlets are tamper resistant. There’s USB ports on all the headboards of the bed, writing supplies, coloring books, local magazines, books, and decor, an outside propane grill with some outdoor games too. Visitors & quiet hours: Unless otherwise approved in writing, each registered guest may have one visitor. All non-registered guests must leave by 11:00 PM quiet hours. Approved events must conclude by the agreed-upon end time. Guest access Guess will have access to the entire property except for the sheds. This includes all the closets, bedrooms, living spaces, laundry room, front yard, backyard. There will be maintenance done to the yard occasionally in the summertime- mowing and pruning, although we will try to do this work when the place is not booked. Other things to note BEDS: I will need to know how many and which beds you will want to use to have them set up before you arrive. There are a lot of options. The floor mattresses can go in living room (there are sleep masks available if you choose this option) or floor of bedrooms. If you want the sofa bed made or the pack n play set up please let me know in advance. Events are allowed by prior approval only and may require an additional event fee. Approved events include small, purpose-based gatherings such as family dinners, baby or bridal showers, graduation parties or open houses, birthday brunches, craft nights, or game nights. All events must have a pre-approved guest count, start time, and end time, and must align with the quiet, family-friendly nature of the property. Daytime open-house style events (such as graduation parties) may allow guests to come and go during approved daytime hours only. Events are not permitted if they are centered around drinking, loud or amplified music, or late-night activity. This includes parties, pregaming, casual drinking gatherings, or any event extending into late evening hours. Alcohol policy: If alcohol is present, it must be moderate and secondary to the event (e.g., beer or wine with food). Hard alcohol, kegs, drinking games, bulk alcohol, or visibly intoxicated guests are not permitted.
