During late summer and early fall (typically September and October), the water level may be lower than usual and may extend beyond the dock. Guests visiting during this time should be aware that water access can be limited. Guest access Enjoy full access to the home, including the beautiful lakefront area, fire pit, dock, gazebo, and deck. Feel free to relax by the water and use the kayaks and paddleboat. Please note that the fenced side yard, garage, motorized boat (stored in the driveway), and indoor hallway locked supply closet are not accessible, but the rest is yours to explore. Other things to note ~Lake Sawyer Information Lake Sawyer, the fourth-largest natural lake in King County (286.1 acres), is perfect for boating, swimming, and fishing! Be sure to follow local lake rules for a safe and enjoyable visit. Seasonal Lake Level Notice: Lake levels naturally fluctuate throughout the year depending on rainfall and regional conditions. Lower levels are most common in late summer and early fall (typically August, September and October). Guests planning lake activities are welcome to check with us prior to arrival. Boating Hours on Lake Sawyer: Fast Hours (36 MPH, outside buoys & 100 ft. from other vessels): Mon–Fri: 2 PM to 7 PM (excluding holidays) Sat, Sun, and Holidays: 11 AM to 3 PM At all other times, the speed limit is 5 MPH. Kayaks, paddleboards, and other non-motorized water toys are welcome on the lake anytime. During fast boating hours, please stay between the shore and the buoys to remain clear of high-speed vessels. At all other times, you are free to enjoy the lake anywhere. ~Service Animals & Allergy Considerations While our home has a strict no-pets policy, we do welcome guests traveling with legitimate service animals, as required by law. However, please note that our home is carefully maintained for guests with severe allergies, including our own family members, and is not ideally suited for animals. To help us keep the space safe and comfortable for everyone, we kindly ask that service animals: *Remain off furniture and out of carpeted areas *Stay downstairs only (no access to upstairs bedrooms) *Use the gravel driveway for bathroom breaks and exercise (animals should stay off the lawn) *Are fully house-trained and do not cause damage or require extra cleaning Guests traveling with service animals should message us before booking to ensure our home setup works for your needs.
