Queen Room, Shared Bath

Welcome skiiers and hikers! Built in 1905 as the Reception Hospital, the Prescott House is now a beautiful brick guesthouse a few blocks from the center of Saranac Lake. Our queen rooms feature a private room with use of a shared bathroom down the hall. Downstairs you'll find a communal kitchen, laundry, porches, pool table and s a comfortable parlor with coffee & tea. The space The space A four story renovated hospital, the Prescott House is now a comfortable, convenient location for those interested in the history of the Adirondacks & Saranac Lake/Lake Placid Area as well as those looking to hike many of the High Peaks and Saranac Lake 6ers. Guest access The Prescott House has a communal kitchen, laundry, porches and pool table as well as a comfortable parlor with coffee and tea. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and dining area located in the basement. There you'll find everything you need to cook a complete meal, including a refrigerator for storing your food. Please only consume food that belongs to you and please remove leftovers before you depart. We ask that all guests leave the kitchen and dining area ready for the next guest to use. You're also welcome to enjoy the wonderful selection of Adirondack books in the first floor parlor, as well as to borrow board games for use in your room, downstairs, or in the parlor.
