You have two upstairs rooms & a private Full Bath. 1 The Cowboy room (12X22ft), has 3 beds: Queen, Double & a Single. 2 The Blue Room (12X16ft), has a queen bed. Both rooms have a space heater in winter, air unit in summer, small worktable, chair, & small refrigerator each. There's also a 1/2 bath off the entry too if needed. Breakfast is cereal-bread-fruit-Almond milk-Yogurt-Cream Cheese. It's just there if you need it in the morning. There's a nice picnic area in the back yard as well. With these two rooms you'll have 2 queen beds, a double, and a single bed. There's a love seat with one working recliner. If someone prefers to sleep sitting up let me know & I'll put some sheets and blankets out for them. There's a window-installed air conditioning unit in the summer & a space heater for the really cold winter nights. You control the temperature. The house has central heating and cooling of course, that is set at what we consider to be moderate and appropriate for each season. These two rooms are perfect for family or any group ready to conquer Zion's mysteries. The kitchen is SELF-SERVE Continental style breakfast with fresh fruits, cold & hot cereals, bread & occasionally bagels, almond milk, usually yogurt, etc. You're welcome to bring your own food & drink to prepare your own meals. Teas are welcome, but I have NO COFFEE MAKER, just a simple French-Press. CLEAN THE DISHES YOU USE. Any pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils we have in those cupboards on the right of the stove are for your use during your stay. ***You have your OWN SMALL REFRIGERATOR in your room for your things. There is also a great coffee shop on your way to Zion, see the guest book. We have a Golden Doodle dog. His fur is hypo-allergenic. He is in the house quite often, though never upstairs. He's not good with other animals so we do not allow pets, but otherwise very friendly. Our home is on 1/2 acre. Children must be accompanied by an adult when they play in the yard. We are 3 miles off of I-15 in a beautiful little community not far from Zion but away from the crowds. Toquerville was once the County Seat. The Decorative Pear trees that line the boulevard are almost 60 years old. Toquerville is a small community. The street is in a quiet residential area. Our neighbors will all wave at you. Be sure to wave back! Oh! And drive slowly please, this is a small town and there are children and pets. You'll need a car to get anywhere and there's so much to see! We are 23 miles to the main West Zion Park entrance and 17 miles to Kolob Finger Canyons on the North. We're right in the middle of both of these west side entrances. 22 miles from St George area, 33 miles from Cedar City, and 39 miles to Brian Head. Brice Canyon is 107 miles north. The Grand Canyon North Rim National Park area is only 133 miles from us, and Lake Powell is 139 miles from our door. There are wonderful hikes near by as well. One can walk in almost any direction and step into desert wilderness with gorgeous views. We have one more room for couples or a single traveler if you need it also: The Master Suite is really a Master Suite with a private shower & Garden Tub, and private laundry.
