Kayaks on property for river use only. 45min. from Penn State, Beaver Stadium, and the Bryce Jordan Center. A short, but beautiful drive to Raystown Lake or Canoe Creek State Park. Close to the Altoona Curve baseball stadium as well as “Horseshoe Curve” and the railroaders museum. Drive to nearby shopping and restaurants. The space Centrally located in a quiet little town, yet close enough to so many things to do. Our little town is small enough to walk or bike through. Drive to popular areas such as State College, Altoona, Huntingdon, or Bedford easily. Grab your bicycles or take a walk on the gorgeous Lower Trail. Enjoy the beauty of Pennsylvania. Mid-state Trail hikers, this is a great place to stop, grab a hot shower, and get a good night's rest. Rest in the comfy, queen-sized memory foam bed, kick back on the reclining sofa, and stream your favorite movie. There is a rollaway bed, so bring a friend! Enjoy the fenced-in backyard, which is perfect for warm summer nights. There are stairs down to the backyard, where you can also park if you would like. The front entrance is also available if you want to park on the street. Remember to stop by Biddle’s Brewing Coffeehouse for a coffee and your complimentary breakfast. It is a very short walk, and you will absolutely love it! We are near many things, but in the center of a small town with no traffic lights. It's a very quiet town with no 5G or LTE, so print your directions before you leave. However, once inside our apartment, you can connect to the free Wi-F. Guest access Guests have full access to the apartment, fenced-in backyard, and 2 off-street parking spots. There is also free parking on the street at the front entrance. Two kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are in the shed. Other things to note There is one flight of stairs up to the apartment. The backyard stairs are open stairs. The front stairs you enter and find the stairwell light switch on your left. At the top of the stairs you will find the door with the keypad. Open the door and the lights are on your left. There you will also find a switch that turns the stairwell lights off. Key to shed containing 2 river ready kayaks, paddles, and life jackets hanging on coat rack behind the front door. Winter weather warning. In case of any accumulation of snow or ice during your stay, please park at rear parking spots. This will allow the snow plows to clear the streets. They do ticket cars parked on the street during these situations.
