Eco-cabin in the forest and mountains in Sasaima

Las Ecocabañas Huitaca are two independent wooden cabins, each designed for two people. They are located in the middle of the forest and the mountain, allowing you to disconnect from the noise of the city and enjoy the sounds of nature. The landscape is beautiful, with a wide biodiversity. Guests can take a guided tour of our agro-ecological production. Various activities such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching or visiting a stream can be done in the surrounding area. The space The "Sue" cabin is a chalet type. Beautiful and very cozy, every detail of its decoration has been taken care of so that guests feel at home. It consists of a loft-style room with a mosquito net, a bathroom with hot water (solar heaters), a kitchenette to prepare simple meals, a minibar, a dining room, a sofa, and a deck with two chairs to enjoy the magic of the forest, read, meditate, do yoga, etc. The cabin is fully powered by solar energy, and the toiletries provided to guests are organic. It has Wi-Fi that makes remote working easy, parking, a viewpoint, and a hammock chair area. There are no restaurants nearby on the village path. Guests have the option to cook their lunches in the cabin or we also have a lunch service for those who wish (ask for our menu). Dinner service is not available. Guests must prepare their own dinners in the cabin. Most of the food on our menu is organic, produced on our farm or purchased from local producers. Pets are allowed, with guests providing all necessary care. Pets are not allowed in the loft-bedroom, only in the living room. Guest access At Huitaca Agroecoturismo, guests can enjoy a beautiful forest that they can explore. We have a hammock chair area and a viewpoint to enjoy the spectacular mountain landscape, both spaces located next to the main house. People can visit our orchards, the hen house and collect eggs, they can take the guided tour of our agroecological production, including our coffee plantation. Some of our seasonal agroecological products can be purchased. You can also walk along the path enjoying varied landscapes and all the nature. You can find a beautiful creek 500 meters away in the middle of a forest, cool off in it or walk along it. On Saturdays at 5 pm there is a space called "Coffee Time" to expand our coffee culture, awaken our senses and taste specialty coffees. This space has an additional cost per couple. The entrance to the village is on a dirt track, and from a certain point only 4x4 cars can enter. That's why we offer a safe parking lot for 4x2s on a neighboring farm before the difficult part of the trail begins. Guests are picked up there and taken to Huitaca. We also offer free transportation to and from Sasaima's main park for those who come by bus. Guests who wish to go for a drive in their car outside the village, a shuttle service is provided to the parking lot from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Outside these hours, guests must hire external transportation at a cost. For guests who wish to take guided walks on other trails, Huitaca provides transportation to Sasaima's main park at a cost, for transport and pick-up.
