The Szegzárd – the lodge is located on nearly two hectares, on a smaller hillside. The estate includes a small “private forest”, a vineyard, and an orchard of a hundred trees. The buildings blend into the landscape while meeting all the necessary comfort requirements. Modern nomadic style, with smaller cabins and an atmosphere that you don't feel in any luxury hotel. The space LODGE #1 AND LODGE #2 We built only two apartments on the nearly two-acre estate. All this consciously, in order to experience the greatest possible intimacy and closeness to nature. Lodge #1 is located in the middle of a 550-vineyard planted with Kadarka, overlooking the city and the starting slopes of the Szekszárd wine region. We can comfortably accommodate 4 people in the building. The floor area of the apartment with terrace is 110 sqm, of which the bedroom is 18 sqm. The separate bedroom of Lodge #1 has a double bed and the living room has a pull-out sofa bed. The building is equipped with a bathroom. Lodge #2 is located at the top of our orchard of more than a hundred fruit trees. This guest house can comfortably accommodate 6 people, its floor area – including the terrace – is 145 sqm, of which the bedrooms are 15 sqm and 13 sqm. Lodge #2 is also accessible to our disabled guests, with a barrier-free parking lot in front of the building. In the building, the two separate bedrooms have double beds, and in the living room, a pull-out sofa bed allows you to relax comfortably. Lodge #2 has two bathrooms. Our property is a 15-minute walk from the city center and the surrounding wineries can be reached at the same pace. The surrounding wonderful vineyards can be visited on the sloping, so-called "szurdik" roads. Two electric bicycles can be rented (more information in a private message). If you feel like it, make a campfire in the fireplace or enjoy the relaxation provided by the swing bed. We are a dog-friendly accommodation, feel free to come with your pets to both of our houses. We ensure the presence of staff and reception at our property at varying time intervals. There is no daily cleaning in the buildings, the one-time cleaning fee is included in the price. GASTRONOMY Breakfast is available at the property for an extra charge. We can prepare a special breakfast for our guests with food allergies and vegan diets. Our Private Dining Experience service can be used for lunch or dinner during your stay. Our private chef prepares fine dining specialties based on a pre-agreed menu. SWIMMING POOL, JACUZZI AND SAUNA We are currently unable to heat our pool due to changes in energy prices on the world market. The pool is open from May to September. Its size is 4.5 x 11.5 x 1.25 m. On the shore of the pool there is an outdoor shower with 6 sunbeds and a sunbathing cabin. The jacuzzi is open all year round, every day from 5 p.m. to midnight. It can be heated up to 40°C and can be used by up to 6 people at a time. Our sauna is located on a high ground in the small forest belonging to the plot. The 4-person cabin can be used all year round, 0-24 hours, with advance booking and for an additional fee (more information in a private message). WINE CELLAR AND WINE TASTING We have collected the outstanding wines of the region for you in our wine cellar. You can taste more than 20 winemakers, a total of 50 types of wine from the 400-bottle wine cellar in our cellar. You can use our wine cellar at any time during your stay without reservation. If you would like to request a wine tasting at our place or at an external venue, at a winery - even combined with an adventurous jeep tour, we will be happy to help you organize it. You can choose Ayurvedic yoga, vinyasa flow, female or yin yoga, but individual you can request strengthening, stretching exercise or focusing on one area for example, hip opening or leg stretching.
