The space Escape to Fairhaven, a beautifully restored cottage where traditional craftsmanship meets modern comfort. Carefully renovated using lime mortar the cottage retains its historic charm while incorporating thoughtful eco-friendly features, including discreet solar panels providing hot water all year round. Inside, Fairhaven is warm, spacious and perfect for relaxing with family or friends. The large kitchen and breakfast room is fully equipped for sociable cooking, with a dishwasher and large American-style fridge freezer. After a day exploring, curl up in the cosy sitting room on deep leather sofas beside the wood burner, or enjoy meals together in the atmospheric stone-walled dining room. Entertainment is easy with a TV including Freeview, DVD and Chromecast for streaming from your own devices. A downstairs loo and wet room add extra convenience. Upstairs you’ll find a peaceful master bedroom suite with its own en-suite bathroom and small dressing room. An adjoining bedroom with a single day bed is ideal for a child or small adult, and a travel cot is also available. Two further twin bedrooms, a shower room and an additional bathroom with bath provide plenty of space for everyone. A laundry cupboard with washing machine and tumble dryer makes longer stays effortless. We provide Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy towels and thoughtful essentials. In cooler months you’ll also find a basket of logs ready for cosy evenings by the fire. Outside, Fairhaven truly comes into its own. A first-floor sitting area opens onto a lovely stone terrace and wildlife-friendly garden where deer often visit. There is also a front terrace & a small meadow with views down to the river. Several outdoor seating areas are perfect for relaxed al fresco dining, morning coffee or sunset drinks. Other things to note **Points to consider For access to the master bedroom guests will need to walk through the adjoining room with the day bed - please consider this if you are planning on using the adjoining bedroom for a 7th guest. Although children are most welcome the garden is unfenced and steep so little ones must be supervised. Access-the cottage is situated down a very narrow lane, with parking for up to 3 cars maximum. Pets- due to the owner’s allergies regrettably pets are strictly not allowed. *caution is advised when swimming in the Wye
