Le Mas, is a 17th century stone building completely renovated with natural and carefully decorated materials. The space The Mas is warm and comfortable, it accommodates up to 12 people with its 6 bedrooms and an area of 300 m2. The place is ideal for families and groups of friends. On the garden level: • Independent bedroom n°1 ( 33 m2 ), under beautiful vault that preserves freshness, double bed 160 x 200, large en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. On the 1st floor - Access is via an old stone staircase. The living room has a wood-burning stove for the winter; in the summer, it is pleasant to have lunch on the shaded terrace. A small living room with TV is adjacent to the main living room. The kitchen has direct access to the terrace where meals can be eaten. The kitchen is equipped with a Lacanche gas range, a large fridge and a dishwasher. A faucet with a water filter is available for your use. Large 12m x 5m swimming pool heated on request from April to June and in September. Access to the pool is via a California beach. Around the pool, there is a wooden deck for sunbathing, a pergola for shade, and an umbrella. Access to the swimming pool area is secured by a wooden barrier. Option to park several cars within the grounds of the farmhouse. Electric vehicle charging station. Nearby: The Uzès market is held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Organic supermarkets and shops are 15 minutes away by car. There is a grocery store and bakery in the nearby village of St Laurent La Vernède 5 minutes away by car. In order to best prepare for your stay, please note that you will need to take the car to do your shopping, as the village does not have any shops. In the area immediately surrounding La Bruguière, you can enjoy 250 km of marked trails through hills covered with holm oaks, fig trees, and olive trees, as well as walks in the Garrigues (scrubland). Beautiful walks are available to you, on foot or by bicycle (rental available in Uzès). For wine lovers, there are plenty of tasting opportunities, especially in the vineyards of Costières de Nîmes, Tavel, Lirac and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Cèze River is 20 minutes away, with canoeing and kayaking activities also available on the Gardon, along with a beautiful view of the Pont du Gard. Canoeing is also possible in the Gorges de l'Ardèche, just 30 minutes from La Bruguière. The beautiful wild beach of Espiguette is a 1.5 hour drive away. An aerial balloon ride offers a view of the sky over the roofs of the historic city of Uzès and the Pont du Gard. The Golf Club d'Uzès offers a 9-hole course, and Nîmes has two golf courses in Campagne and Vacquerolles (18 holes). In January, come and discover the Uzès Truffle Festival; during this period, the entire town comes alive with truffle-themed tours and tastings.
