Welcome to NarusKallela on the shores of the Naruskajoki river! Forget the hustle and bustle in this spacious and peaceful cottage in the middle of the wilderness of Naruska. Restricted road access in winter. Lapland's best nature attractions around you. Fishing spot on the home beach in summer and winter, berry lands, mountains, wilderness lakes, hunting lands. Northern Lights on clear winter nights. Fireplace heat, wood-fired sauna with shower and indoor toilet. Private drilled well. Good internet connection and wifi. The best place for a leisurely vacation. The space The interior square footage of the NarusKallela cabin on one level is 75 sqm. The outdoor porch with a roof is 10 m2. The kitchen area is 36 m2, the bedroom 20 m2 and in between them the sauna, indoor toilet and dressing room area is 19 m2. The house has direct electric heating with remote and manually adjustable electric radiators. The sauna is heated by a wood stove. The kitchen has a well-drawn fireplace with a glass door. The building is made of six-inch logs and the bedroom is paneled, the sauna and toilet dressing rooms are paneled. The walls of the kitchen are hand-plastered on a flame-patterned log surface and the ceiling is made of a unique cladding bead. The floors in the kitchen and bedroom are made of genuine Finnish pine tongue-and-groove boards and the sauna/toilet facilities are equipped with a fiberglass floor. The floor material of the dressing room is a wet room plastic carpet. Guest access All the facilities of NarusKallelamökki are available to guests. The cottage book contains more instructions for use in addition to the information on this site. Other things to note There is a 16A outdoor socket in the parking area at the end of the house. There is no fast charging point for electric cars in Kallel. Charging an electric/plug-in car must be agreed in advance with the landlord in terms of costs! The socket has a remotely readable consumption meter. Due to our long maintenance trip (450 km round trip), those coming to NarusKallela must have their own linen and towels. In winter, it must be taken into account that after Epiphany 2026, there are restrictions on the plowing of the road to the end. However, the road surface is passable even by snowmobile and, of course, by skiing the four-kilometer forest road section. For the road's drivability by car, it is advisable to contact the landlord Ukka Matinpoika and tell about the plans to drive the road leading to NarusKallela from Loppiainen onwards. With a four-wheel drive car, the roads may be passable past Loppiainen, but sometimes the Lapland blizzard can surprise you and make all the small roads impassable. Arctic conditions must be taken into account when driving, so that there are warm outerwear in the car for problem situations. When the road is closed, it is possible to go skiing to the cabin from the Naruskantie side via the Naruskajoki river ice, where the shortest skiing distance is less than half a kilometer.
