Charming farmhouse by the lake – close to Gothenburg & Borås

Welcome out into the countryside for a moment of peace and quiet in the beautiful Swedish nature. Here, all seasons have their charm. Right now, the forests are full of both blueberries and mushrooms 🫐🍄‍🟫 The cottage is charmingly decorated with old things, but with a modern standard. Wake up in a comfortable 160 bed and enjoy the amazing lake view. The horses graze in the meadow below the window, and wild animals often pass by. Warm welcome from us! / Matilda with family The space The price includes bed linens, towels, and cleaning. We provide coffee and tea, and there is a refrigerator and microwave for easily preparing a packed breakfast that can be enjoyed with a lake view. The kitchen lacks a stove and oven but is equipped with: - Micro wave - Refrigerator - Coffemaker - Watercooker - Egg cooker - Assorted cutlery and crockery On the patio at the back of the cabin, there is an electric grill. The cottage is close to the main house (see pictures) and shares the terrace with us, but the terrace is screened off and you have your own patio with outdoor furniture at the back of the cottage and a small enclosure where you can have your dog loose. A family with children lives on the property, so there may be noise from children, but they keep their distance from the guests in the cabin. From the parking lot to the cabin, you walk on a grassy path. In case of rain, it can get wet around the shoes. On the farm live horses, sheep, chickens, ducks, cats and a dog. In some cases we can resolve pick up/drop off at check in and check out, but not a ride during the stay. The farm is located: - 40 minutes from Gothenburg - 35 minutes from Borås - 55 minutes from Varberg. I always respond as quickly as I can and am happy to help 🌸 Other things to note 🌲 Barely 6 km from the farm is the well-known hiking trail Hyssnaleden which was recently designated one of Europe's best hiking trails. 🧶 The cottage is located in Marks municipality which is also known as Sweden's textile center and is called Tygriket or Textilriket. It has several well-known textile shops, crafts and sights to visit. 🛒 Just over 1 hour from the shopping paradise Gekås in Ullared.
