Cozy South Knoxville Getaway

Enjoy a family friendly, private stay close to all the best amenities that South Knoxville has to offer! Great for outdoor enthusiasts or anyone wanting a cozy stay in a peaceful neighborhood very close to all the action. Because our family lives in the top unit of this rental, we require all guests to have received reviews and that they are positive. Requests from guests without any reviews will be declined. The space You will have sole access to the entire downstairs apartment with its own private entrance, patio and access to a shared, fully fenced backyard. Bedroom has a queen size bed and dresser with ample space at the bedside for the packable crib, kept in hall closet. If you are staying with littles, let us know and we can have it set up for you upon arrival! Full kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, coffee/tea, as well as a child friendly serving set. Bathroom has a shower/tub, with towels and first aid kit in the bathroom closet. Living room is equipped with a smart TV with a surround sound system. Bring your user name and passwords to enjoy your favorite channels/streaming services. Full size futon can sleep 2, or couch can be used for additional sleeping space. There is a box of children's toys, books, and coloring supplies. For those coming to bike the trails around Baker Creek, we have a bike stand and some bike tools that can be made available by request for tune ups between rides. Within walking distance to the Urban Wilderness hiking/biking trails at Baker Creek Preserve and the playground with child-sized bike ramps across the street. 5 min drive to Ijams Nature Center and Meads Quarry. Very close to a few neighborhood restaurants, including SoKno Taco and 71 South, or a 5 min drive to the hip spots on Sevier Ave, including restaurants, breweries, boba and coffee shops. 8 mins to University of Tennessee, Market Square, and downtown Knoxville. 1 hour to the Great Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, & Dollywood. Please note- there is a family friendly, well-mannered dog who lives upstairs, with shared HVAC, so if you are sensitive to pets, please take this into consideration prior to booking. This will also contribute to the pitter patter sound you may hear upstairs. There are also a few young *aspiring* gymnasts and break dancers living upstairs that can, at times, move around like belligerent kangaroos, though not during quiet hours. There is a level 2 EV charger with the standard J1772 plug that will be accessible to guests. Let us know ahead of time if you would like to use it and what type of vehicle you will be charging. Guest access The private entrance is through the door on the right at the end of the driveway. We will send you the code for the keypad lock prior to your arrival. There is room to park just outside the apartment or you can park on the street in front of the house. Other things to note Safety and Cleanliness: Beyond the freshly washed linens and towels, we pay extra attention to high use items like light switches, door knobs, and remote controls, which are all sanitized between guests. No smoking indoors or on the patio please.
