Vacation apartment in the castle – Apartment 4

I am happy to welcome you to the castle. Apartment No. 4 is located on the upper level (3rd floor) and faces northwest, from where you have a view of the park, the moat and the small lake. It has a bedroom-living room combination, full bathroom and kitchen. It offers tranquility and a beautiful view of the park landscape. The space Audigast is a moated castle in a special location on the eastern outskirts of Audigast. To the west are protected forests and agricultural areas. The landscape and the castle appear serene and inviting through the surrounding green spaces, the architectural beauty of the castle and a fascinating cultural history. Once, centuries ago, the castle was a center for community activities, including a church and a mill as well as a large agricultural operation with large forest and arable land. In 2019, a comprehensive renovation was finally started, which is still ongoing today. There is hope to develop a sustainable social enterprise and cultural program. There is a combination of uses such as living, cultural program, tourism and leisure activities in combination with overnight stays. From late summer 2024, Audigast Castle with its 7.6 hectare landscape and surrounding public areas will be open for short stays and special events. It has a quasi-public character in that it can be used for guided tours, conferences and special events. Specifically, Audigast will provide space for weddings, conferences, exhibitions, concerts and other public and private uses. The castle was built from 1330 in a north-south-east-west axis. The newer building was built in 1753 and retained the axis to the village and church of Audigast. To us, the castle looks like a green manor house. A green landscape and a garden can be seen through all windows in all directions. The indoor-outdoor synergy of the castle combines gardens, landscape, water resources and the outdoor area. When you stay at Audigast Water Castle, you can experience a gentle euphoria created by the positive energy of the spreading cultural and natural phenomena, the architectural space and the beautiful aspects of Audigast. The building and its details are 95% complete, but there is still a lot to do to save this perpetual major cultural project. Guest access The whole apartment is at your disposal. You also have access to the entire building and the entire grounds of the moated castle. Other things to note All apartments are newly renovated, unique and comfortable with magnificent views of the cultural garden and the landscape structure of the Audigast moated castle. The green views of nature from every window reflect the tranquility of a green manor house, which was built in 1753 and whose origins date back to 1330.
