The space Our cozy, one-story home features two comfortable bedrooms: a suite with a queen-size bed and its own bathroom, and a second bedroom with two twin beds, plus a spacious, separate bathroom. In the expansive living area, you'll find an extendable dining table, a custom-made (locally crafted!) sofa, and a cozy spot to unwind with a book—or simply watch your partner cook in the fully equipped, semi-open kitchen. For additional relaxation, there is a separate chill-out and dining room (right across the main house) area overlooking the beautiful garden and the surrounding nature, offering the perfect setting for quiet moments. Here you will find a sofa-bed that can fit the 5th and 6th guest. The large outdoor space features a heated pool and a dining area ideal for enjoying meals or stargazing under the clear Alentejo skies. We've carefully blended modern comforts with traditional charm to ensure a restful stay, including solar-heated water and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. Guest access We open our entire home to you, including the cozy indoor spaces and the peaceful garden. Feel free to relax by the heated pool, enjoy meals in the outdoor dining area, or explore the surrounding village. The house and its amenities are yours to enjoy, making it the perfect base to unwind and experience the Alentejo. Other things to note Please note that our home is located in a peaceful, rural village, so a car is recommended to explore nearby gems like Alqueva Lake and Monsaraz. Our house combines the charm of tradition with modern comforts, including solar-heated water and energy-efficient appliances. While our garden is not yet wheelchair accessible, we're working towards making it more inclusive for everyone. We’re pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry companions! Just a gentle request to take care of our cherished, some century-old decor and furniture. To ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible, we provide luxurious 100% percale cotton bed linen (made in Portugal!) and equally soft, luxurious towels.
