Idyllic for family gatherings, birthdays and weddings, reunions, or a special getaway, our stunning 7 super king bedroom home, each with an ensuite bathroom, (plus 2 cloakrooms downstairs) offers everything you need for an unforgettable stay. A great house for all ages and tastes. Pack your swimwear for the best feature of the house - the superb indoor heated swimming pool (with inflatable toys for all ages). We have water polo, rings, floats and all sorts, to keep everyone smiling! Throw on your complimentary fluffy robe between swims. Fancy a sauna? We have that covered too. Just next to the pool for that added wow factor. Exhausted the aquatic fun for one day?.....have a quick shower, dry off, pop on your complimentary robe and walk through to the bar - with 2 wine / drinks fridges - for pre-dinner drinks. Later, make your dining special and pre-book a private chef (ask for details) to completely indulge; or for the chefs amongst you, make use of the abundant kitchen amenities to rustle up a meal for your friends and family. Why not regroup back at the BAR for a few cocktails and watch TV and chat, or plonk down in the cosy lounge with another large smart TV, (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky - movies, Disney) to play games and chat. Finally after it all becomes too much...head to your super comfy bedroom to recharge for the following day. We've even named your rooms to reflect the character of the house and its former elegant restaurant and Inn heritage. Choose from the beautiful 'Chambord' (the primary bedroom), 'Jamesons' or 'Malfy' on the first floor. These are the largest rooms. And 'Haig','Bombay', 'Smirnoff' and 'Disaronno' on the second floor. *** BEDS *** With at least 14 days notice before your stay, we can, on request split any of the Super-king beds into 2 singles, giving you more flexibility for family members or friends. For each bed split and reconnect after your stay, there is an additional fee of £20 per bed. So if you require all 7 beds changing to singles, there will be a fee of £140 for extended cleaning time. Please advise if you need this service as early as possible. Thank you. Superb Indoor Heated Swimming Pool: A rare find for a property in this location. With several inflatable toys for fun! Also with security coded door for the safety of our younger guests. Invigorating Sauna: Unwind in our fantastic sauna facility. Easily operated by LCD display. Splash a couple of ladles of water onto the coals and detox your mind and body! Complete with single shower facilities. Entertainment: We have a spacious sitting room to seat 14 with Smart TV and electric fire. There is also a separate cosy snug with table football/pool/air hockey, sofa for 3 and bean bags, set up in front of a large 55" Smart TV for movie nights in. Let's be honest, you are not going to be short of things to do here. Stylish Kitchen: Cook up a feast in our expansive kitchen featuring two double ovens, a large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine (with a generous supply of pods for your stay), and a central island with breakfast bar and stools. **If you would like us to put you in touch with a private chef for an indulgent evening experience without having to cook and clear up afterwards, please ask!** Spacious Dining Room: Fill your glasses and plates for fantastic get-togethers in our elegant dining area, perfect for celebrations or group meetings. PARKING NOTES We have parking for 4 medium sized cars on the driveway only, along with an EV vehicle charger. For any further cars, these can be parked in the local pub, The New Inn, car park, which is 5 minutes walk from the house. (Please note - strictly no parking alongside the perimeter stone wall to the property). Don't worry, we will remind you before your stay. There are lots of countryside walks in the area plus a nice park, just across the road, to keep little ones amused! Enjoy modern comforts designed for your relaxation and rejuvenation. Shrewsbury town centre is a 15 minute drive and supermarkets / large outlet stores are only 10 minutes away. There is a well stocked village convenience store, just a couple of minutes walk in the direction of the church and pub. Drive or catch public transport into our beautiful Market Town of Shrewsbury, where you can have a river cruise on the Sabrina Boat, visit the Dana, Shrewsbury's former prison for adrenaline pumping escape rooms or a family day out, walk around the River Severn Loop surrounding the town, visit The Quarry, a 29 acre parkland where we hold the annual Flower Show and Food Festival, and located along the River Severn, play a round of golf at one of our exclusive golf courses, Hawkstone Park, Market Drayton, Church Stretton and many more. Other things to note Our fantastic property is situated in a peaceful village and on the the main A-road from Shrewsbury to Chester. You will hear some road noise from traffic. However, the downstairs rooms have noise insulated double glazing, and the bedroom windows have secondary glazing units which are substantially soundproofed when the windows are closed. We also provide fans for each bedroom during warm weather spells. Access to the property is strictly via the side door. The front door, which leads to the street, is only to be used in emergency situations - fire / flood. Sorry to advise that this property is not pet friendly. We have two travel cots and two high chairs available at the property. If you would like to make use of them during your stay, please let us know in advance, and we’ll be happy to ensure they are ready for you. We ask guests to keep noise to an acceptable level and to consider the neighbouring community especially when sitting outdoors. And in booking the property, guests agree to keep the property in a good condition at all times. Our property is professionally cleaned and is set up for remote check-in.
