Astra Stargazing Tiny House | Off-Grid near JTNP

Escape to Astra, our off-grid tiny house retreat for stargazers, couples, and adventurers alike. Set on 10 private acres, this stylish cabin offers cozy comforts with an interior bathroom and hot shower, yet keeps you close to the raw beauty of the desert. Spend your days exploring Joshua Tree trails and your nights beneath endless stars in a dark sky zone. Relax, reconnect, and fall asleep surrounded by sweeping desert and mountain views—rustic adventure meets romantic escape. Front door locks The space Astra is a 160 foot tiny house with sleeping loft and twin daybed that can convert to a king bed. It has a composting toilet and heated shower inside. There is a very basic kitchen (sink and basic kitchenware). For campers who appreciate comfortable beds and a step above roughing it, Astra is a great fit! Our place is also great for couples who are testing out camping and still want to lock the doors at night. Children are welcome to stay, sleeping downstairs only for safety. Guest access You will have access to Astra Cabin, it's own private outdoor area complete with outdoor chimney and seating, bistro table and BBQ. You also will have shared access to the complete 10 acres of land around Astra that include a horseshoe pit, pool (summer months only), outdoor shower, and meditation garden. We have several decks as well that can be used for yoga or relaxing. Other things to note Please observe all house rules; absolutely no loud parties & no fires/fireworks. We care deeply about our neighbors and want to bring only positive experiences to Yucca Valley. Violations incur $1000 fines (from the County) and threaten our business sustainability. Our listing is designed for people who like to camp, but maybe aren't in the mood to haul all their own camp gear out to a site and setting it up. Our cabin is already set up for you. Expect pristine cabin conditions, but likely somewhat dusty outdoor kitchen areas. We do our best to keep the desert out, but wind is a regular condition in Yucca Valley. Expect an untamed desert where you may sight jackrabbits, lizards, rodents and hear coyotes in the distance. Do be careful in summer months for red ants and poisonous albeit shy snakes. We have recently added outdoor-only security cameras to prevent theft, parties, and to ensure our guests' security. Registration Details CEALTS-2022-00025
