This area is known for its fabulous music venues filled with local talent, you can find live music almost any day of the week. This is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, for an individual, couple, or a few good friends. This is also a great healing place for a longer retreat to restore the human spirit away from the hurried pace of everyday life. “May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.” ― Edward Abbey “Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit, and as vital to our lives as water and good bread.” ― Edward Abbey, Desert Solitaire Guest access guest bedroom, guest bathroom, and outdoors including separate 2 decks in the yard During your stay I will welcome guests because if I were a guest, I would appreciate the host's welcoming support. I would enjoy meeting new people from different backgrounds. That is why I stay on Airbnb. If I am at home, I will be available to help you and interact with you if you want. If you need privacy, I will respect that, too. Other things to note I installed a shower in a bathtub, so the guest can enjoy a shower, but make sure to use the curtain all around the tub to protect the unsealed wall. One thing I would like to ask the guests is to conserve water and energy (electricity and natural gas) because this is a desert environment and we all make efforts to conserve water. It is also important to conserve energy to protect the environment due to serious global warming. About heating, I keep the house 68 degrees F and even turn it off in the daytime, and please turn off the heater before you go to bed in winter. If you need to keep the heater going on all day and all night, this is not your place to stay. But I can be flexible somehow. We will talk about it if you have an issue. No kitchen available including heating foods. You may keep food in a refrigerator. Thank you for your cooperation.
