Our SAMPAGUITA SUITE is within the MIRANAMIN NEST, a 4-storey townhouse on the historic MIRANILA property. Facing one of the largest private gardens in Quezon City, MiraNamin is a rare oasis in the middle of the city. Over the years, MiraNamin has been home to various artists, musicians, and dreamers. This is a place where you can relax, reset, and enjoy. Named after the MAPILIG TREE, an endangered and special member of the IRONWOOD family endemic to the Philippines, this suite carries a unique significance. Just as the Mapilig tree stands strong and rare, the Mapilig Suite embodies RESILIENCE and BEAUTY, providing guests with a tranquil haven amidst history. The SAMPAGUITA SUITE offers its own STUDY space, a widescreen TV, a REFRIGERATOR, and 5-star quality comfy beds. Guests have access to the ROOFTOP DINING area, SHARED KITCHEN and soon, a cozy ROOFDECK lounge and PET SUITE. The ground floor houses the HAPPY GARDEN CAFE on one side, and our INDOOR PLUNGE POOL and DRESSING SUITE on the other. The SECOND FLOOR houses 6 suites, while the THIRD FLOOR houses 2 suites, and 2 kitchens. The FOURTH FLOOR is our roof deck and features an outdoor dining area and lounge, where guests can enjoy the sunset and views of Quezon City. Built in 1929 by the Benitez family, this majestic villa that was occupied by the JAPANESE in WWII, was spared thanks to their vigilant gardener, who revealed himself as a Japanese officer. The main house, with its ITALIANATE architecture, features elegant porches, balconies, and deep bracketed eaves. It welcomed dignitaries, family, and friends, and remains the only house on historic Mariposa Street with its ORIGINAL FIXTURES and furnishings. In 2011, MiraNila was granted HERITAGE HOUSE status by the National Historical Commission and transformed into a living MUSEUM. Valet parking available on event days • Pets allowed after approval process, with a fee • Extra charges may be applied for special requests such as early check in or late check out • Extra guest fee of P1,500 • Daytime guest fees are charged for daytime guests, suppliers, photographers, and staff • The Pool Club and Dressing Suite, or The Rooftop Lounge and Dining Area may not be available for a portion of your stay if they are being used for a function WEDDINGS AND EVENTS If you are booking this room or multiple rooms to prepare for a wedding or event, please be sure to also book The Pool Club and Dressing Suite. This allows for your suppliers, makeup artists, entourage, and photo video teams to enter our house, and provides you with a comfortable space that was created specifically for bridal parties. This covers entry for up to 30 guests, giving access to The Pool Club and Dressing Suite for 6 hours, and allowing 5am-9pm access for essential personnel to guest suites. PLEASE NOTE THAT SAMPAGUITA SUITE HAS A MAX DAYTIME GUEST CAPACITY OF 10 PERSONS. Daytime guests are not allowed in common areas unless you book one of our event spaces, or unless you book the entire house. CLEANING MiraNamin is a SELF-SERVICE bed and breakfast. As such, we have limited staff to cater to guests' needs. Cleaning and sheet CHANGES are done every 3 DAYS for long-staying guests. PETS Pets need to pass through an APPROVAL process before they are allowed into our home, after which a P1,000 pet fee is applied. BATHTUB If your bathroom does not have a bathtub, there is a clawfoot bathtub on the rooftop with a great view, and hot and cold water. This is available for all MiraNamin guests to use. The bathtub comes with a lounge chair, and there is a shower and changing area nearby. DISCOUNTS Our guests often regret not booking longer, so we've added in discounts for stays of 2 nights or more. The longer you stay, the bigger the discount. Treat yourself to that extra day! ELEVATOR While we are pursuing plans of installing an ELEVATOR in our home, some guests might have difficulty using the STAIRCASE to reach the suites for the meantime. RENOVATIONS You may also notice some ongoing renovations on the PET SUITE and ELEVATOR which are slated to open by December 2025.
