The house is known for its classic Icelandic design, featuring stone and wood construction, steeply pitched roofs, and a simple, elegant aesthetic. It holds a unique character, blending traditional Icelandic craftsmanship with timeless appeal. The home is situated in a quiet, picturesque bayside neighborhood in the heart of downtown Hafnarfjörður, contributing to its serene and desirable setting. The surrounding area reflects Hafnarfjörður’s rich cultural history, with close proximity to the town center, harbour, and natural lava fields. The home uniquely has 2 and half bedrooms as one of the bedrooms has a small single sized bed in a room connected to it. Great for children. The other two bedrooms offer full queen sized beds. There’s a full bathroom upstairs with a washer dryer. The main floor has a living room with 85in tv, with chromecast, a sound system and PS4. There’s a library with plenty of books and games to play. The kitchen is fully functional with coffee, and seasonings ready for you. The property offers a spacious garden. There’s a path from the garden up the “Hammer” with amazing views of the city. The Legends say that the cliff is an ancient kingdom of the elves where the Royal Family of the Hidden Folk lives. One of the largest elf rocks is on the property.
