New listing from experienced SuperHosts! Nestled on beautiful Stretch Island, with a drive-on bridge, this cozy cabin is a serene escape. Huge windows frame stunning water views of Case Inlet, inviting you to relax & soak in the tranquility. The comfy interior is perfect for small groups, couples or families. Retro-inspired furnishings add a touch of vintage charm. The compact kitchen is well-equipped for meal prep. The deck overlooks the water where you may kayak or fish right from the lawn. The space Our family friendly waterfront cabin has a beautiful new wood deck, patio with propane fire pit, heated outdoor “surfboard” shower and a grass lawn with room to play by the water. Inside you’ll find two bedrooms & one full bathroom with laundry machines, a compact but complete kitchen (minus the dishwasher), and a comfortable living room & dining room with views of the water and the bridge to the island. Living room has a comfortable sofa large enough to sleep on. Good Wi-Fi, Smart TV for streaming & DVD player. We provide a small selection of movies, books, toys, cards & board games. 3 adult Kayaks, 2 kids kayaks & 2 SUP are provided for guest use. Provided life vests: 2 infant, 1 child and 5 adult life vests (x-small/small, Med-Large, (2) Large & XXL). A buoy is available if you’d like to bring your own boat. Guests are welcome to dig for clams on the beach directly in front of the home. Please limit it to 60 clams, and do not dig from any neighbor’s beaches. Sorry, oyster harvesting is not allowed. There is space to park up to 4 cars. There is no street parking available. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, carport and the yard and beach immediately in front of the home. There are a few locked cabinets in the home for owners to store belongings. Other things to note We recommend packing water shoes for going in the water as we have a typical rocky Washington beach. The water is usually warm enough for swimming in the summer. In non-summer months, you may want to try a cold dip followed by a hot shower! Our beach fronts on salt water where the tides typically come in and out twice per day. As a result, during negative tides (-2 to -3) the water directly in front of the home may go away for a few hours, replaced by the view of the shimmering tide flats. Tides are normally higher in the winter than the summer. There is always a water view & access just North of the cabin. Stretch Island has a bridge to drive on, so you don’t have to take a ferry to reach the island. The fireplace in the living room is not currently operational. You are welcome to burn the candles we provide instead, or you may bring your own. Please limit laundry to one load per day if you are also taking multiple showers. Smoking is allowed outside only and you must collect and dispose of all butts in a safe manner. Do not throw them on our property! The number of guests in the reservation is the maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time, not just overnight. No additional guests are allowed on the property without prior approval. Please note we currently do not have air conditioning at this listing.
